  • Late July to early or mid August 2027 (3Boryeong Mud Festival — Seventeen days from a Friday in the second half of July to a Sunday in the first half of August (2024: 19 Jul–4 Aug; 2025: 25 Jul–10 Aug; 2026: 24 Jul–9 Aug). Dates were on the official site and the KTO listing well before the festival; the 2027 (30th) dates had not been announced as of 16 October 2026.
  • Late July to mid-August 2027, most likelBusan Sea Festival — Late July to mid-August. Since 2024 a long weekend or a full week opening on a Friday at Dadaepo Beach: 26–28 Jul 2024, 1–3 Aug 2025, 7–13 Aug 2026. Earlier editions ran about 1–6 August across several beaches (1–6 Aug 2017; 1–6 Aug 2023 at Haeundae and Dadaepo). Busan city publishes the full programme about a week before opening (28 Jul 2025, 4 Aug 2026).
  • Late July or early August to mid or lateHangang Festival (Summer) — Two to four weeks from late July or early August: 4–20 Aug 2023, 26 Jul–11 Aug 2024, 26 Jul–24 Aug 2025 (lengthened to 30 days for a hot summer) and 1–16 Aug 2026. The festival began in 2013 as Hangang Mongttang, a 37-day summer festival; the city now also holds spring, autumn and winter runs under the same name.
  • Late July to early August 2027 (it wouldHwacheon Tomato Festival — Early August, across the first weekend of the month: 1–4 Aug 2024 and 1–3 Aug 2025. In 2026 it was stretched to ten days, 31 Jul–9 Aug. Dates have been public by mid to late July.
  • A Friday–Sunday at the turn of July/AuguIho Tewoo Festival — A Friday-to-Sunday weekend at the turn of July and August, during the beach's summer night-opening season (31 July–2 August in 2026; the 2025 rowing contest was on Sunday 27 July). The Visit Jeju listing carried the 2026 programme by July.
  • Friday to Sunday on the last weekend of Incheon Pentaport Rock Festival — Three days on the first weekend of August or the last of July (2024: 2–4 Aug; 2025: 1–3 Aug; 2026: 31 Jul–2 Aug). The 2026 dates were fixed by the city's kickoff briefing on 7 April, first lineup and early-bird tickets on 8 May, timetable on 10 July.
  • Late July to early August 2027 (the 20thJeongnamjin Jangheung Water Festival — Nine days from the last Saturday of July to the following Sunday: 27 Jul–4 Aug 2024, 26 Jul–3 Aug 2025, 25 Jul–2 Aug 2026. The 2024 dates were fixed by the county's festival committee in late November 2023, eight months ahead.
  • August 2027 (23rd edition). Asia KyungjeJecheon International Music & Film Festival — Six days in late summer, Thursday to Tuesday. From 2005 to 2023 the festival was held in August (10–15 August 2023); it moved to early September for 2024–2026 (5–10 Sep 2024, 4–9 Sep 2025, 3–8 Sep 2026). Asia Kyungje reported in July 2026 that it plans to open in August, the summer holiday season, again in 2027.
  • Nine days in the first half of SeptemberMuju Firefly Festival — Nine days from a Friday or Saturday in late August or early September (2024: late Aug–early Sep; 2025: 6–14 Sep; 2026: 4–12 Sep). The 2026 programme and firefly-tour booking details were announced on 20 August; tours are booked online only and sell out fast.
  • Early to mid-August 2027 (66th edition),Tongyeong Hansan Daecheop Festival — Five to nine days in early to mid-August, built around 14 August, the solar-calendar date of the 1592 battle (the 8th day of the 7th lunar month): 4–12 Aug 2023, 9–14 Aug 2024, 8–14 Aug 2025 and 12–16 Aug 2026. Dates are usually public by early July.
  • Late August 2027, most likely a ThursdayYeongdong Grape Festival — Four days, Thursday to Sunday, in the last week of August: 24–27 Aug 2023, 29 Aug–1 Sep 2024 and 27–30 Aug 2026. In 2025 it moved to 18–21 September because the Yeongdong World Gugak Expo was using the festival plaza. The 2026 dates were reported by late July.
  • October 2027, probably five days as in rJeonju International Sori Festival — Five days. An autumn festival for more than 20 years after it began in 2001, then moved to mid-August from 2024 (14–18 Aug 2024, 13–17 Aug 2025, 12–16 Aug 2026); the organizers plan to move it back to October from 2027.
