Festivals in Incheon

Incheon hosts Pentaport, Korea's biggest rock festival, on reclaimed land in Songdo at the end of July or start of August. It is on the Incheon subway, about 90 minutes from central Seoul. In October, Dream Park, a former landfill site in the north of the city, fills with chrysanthemums (AREX to Geomam). Seoul is next door, linked by AREX and subway Line 1, and its festivals on this site are nearby: cherry blossoms on Yeouido from late March into April, Hanwha's fireworks over the Han River in September or October and the Lantern Festival along Cheonggyecheon in winter.
