どんな祭り？
全北特別自治道の南部にある小さな郡・淳昌は、韓国の人がコチュジャン（発酵させた唐辛子みそ）と聞いて真っ先に思い浮かべる土地です。郡は1997年にコチュジャンの作り手を集めて伝統コチュジャン民俗村をつくり、今ではその隣に淳昌発酵テーマパークがあります。2024年からは郡の淳昌発酵観光財団がこの2か所を使い、コチュジャンで味が決まる辛い餅料理・トッポッキをテーマにした週末の祭りを開いています。
2024年11月の第1回は、ブースが18チームでした。2025年に名前に「コリア」を加えると、ブースは約80（うち46がトッポッキや軽食の販売）に増え、2日間で約40,000人が訪れました。2026年1月には全北特別自治道から優秀地域祭りに選ばれています。中心となるのは、淳昌の11の邑・面がそれぞれ地元のコチュジャンと地元ならではの工夫で作るトッポッキです。トマト、アザミのコチュジャン、栗、えのきの「雪の花」トッポッキなどが小さな器で売られ、全国ブランドや地元の店、大学の調理チームの屋台も並びます。
第3回となる2026年は11月21日～22日の開催です。主催者の案内では、5つのゾーンに37の飲食ブースが並び、トッポッキ以外を食べたい人向けのフードコートもあります。ほかに、『白と黒のスプーン～料理階級戦争～』の「マンチッナム」ことチョ・グァンヒョ（조광효）シェフによるフュージョン・トッポッキの料理ショー、コチュジャン名人と作るソース作りとガイド付きのウェルネス散策（各₩5,000）、テーマパークと民俗村をめぐる無料のARスタンプラリー、路上お絵描き大会、フラッシュモブ、国楽、ナンタ、人形劇があり、土曜の夜には人気キャンプYouTuberと一緒に芝生で無料キャンプができます。入場は無料です。
同じ会場で10月に開かれる、より大規模な淳昌醤類祭り（2026年は10月15日～18日）とは別の催しです。
注意点もあります。淳昌はソウルから遠い場所です。直行の高速バスは1日3本ほど（3時間19分）しかなく、ソウルへ戻る最終便が祭りの終了前に出てしまう可能性もあるので（ターミナルで確認してください）、ソウルからの人の多くは1泊するか、光州・南原・全州を経由することになります。2025年は料理をスマートフォンでQRコードを読み取って注文する方式で、年配の来場者には分かりにくかったようです。メニューもほぼトッポッキだけでした。祭りのサイトとプログラム案内は韓国語のみです。

こんな人におすすめ： グルメ好き、子ども連れの家族、Kフードのファンで、小さな田舎町で屋台料理とコチュジャン文化を安く体験したい人に最適です。ソウルから手軽に日帰りしたい人（直行バスは本数が少なく、最終便は祭りの終了前に出ることがあります）や、トッポッキと軽食以外の料理を幅広く楽しみたい人にはあまり向きません。
アクセス
ソウルから
ソウル高速バスターミナル（セントラルシティ、湖南線）から淳昌共用バスターミナルへ直行高速バスが出ていますが、1日3本ほどで、所要3時間19分、優等で₩27,500です。出発時刻は祭りの日の前にターミナルで確認してください。会場はターミナルの約3km西にあるので、タクシーか、民俗村（민속마을）停留所へ行く農村バスを利用します。鉄道なら、龍山駅からKTXで全州駅（約1時間40分、₩31,600）か全羅線の南原駅へ行き、市外バスに乗り換えます。南原～淳昌のバスは42分（₩4,500、1日約10本）ですが、全州～淳昌の時刻は確認できていません。またはKTXで光州松汀駅へ行き（龍山駅から₩42,000）、光州ユースクエアのバスターミナルへ移動して淳昌行きのバスに乗ります（1日約15本、1時間6分、₩5,600）。
釜山から
釜山から淳昌への直行バスは見つかっていないので、光州を経由します。釜山西部市外バスターミナル（沙上、地下鉄2号線沙上駅）から光州ユースクエアまで市外バスが1日約20本、所要2時間57分、優等₩28,300またはプレミアム₩36,800です。ユースクエアからは淳昌共用バスターミナル行きのバスが1日約15本、所要1時間6分、₩5,600です。その後は上記のとおり、タクシーか、民俗村（민속마을）停留所へ行く農村バスを利用します。時刻は祭りの日の前に各ターミナルで確認してください。
南原駅（KTX、全羅線）からバスから会場まで
KTX／全羅線。徒歩圏内ではありません。南原共用バスターミナルから淳昌行きの市外バス（42分）に乗り、そこから会場まで約3kmです
シャトルバス
2024～2026年の祭りのシャトルバスは発表されていません。主催者の交通案内には、ペクサン村（백산마을）と民俗村（민속마을）停留所に停まる農村バスの路線が載っていますが、時刻はありません。
帰り方
淳昌発ソウル・セントラルシティ行きの直行バスは1日数本だけで、最終便が日曜の17:00の終了前に出てしまう可能性があるので、ターミナルで確認してください。遅く帰るなら、まず光州・南原・全州のいずれかへ出る必要があります（淳昌発の時刻は見つからなかったので、ターミナルで確認してください）。そこから光州ユースクエア発ソウル・セントラルシティ行きの高速バス、光州松汀駅発水西駅行きのKTX、または全州駅発龍山駅行きのKTXに乗ります。2026年11月1日から新しいKTX時刻表になり、11月22日の終電は確認できていません。祭りの日の前にKorail+アプリ（코레일+）か駅で確認してください。1泊するか、土曜の無料キャンプに参加するほうが楽です。
駐車場
2025年は淳昌発酵テーマパーク周辺の駐車場6か所が祭りに使われ（料金は記載なし）、テーマパークにも専用の駐車場があります。2026年10月18日時点で、2026年の駐車案内は発表されていません。
Google マップは韓国では電車・地下鉄・バスの経路を表示できますが、徒歩や車のルート案内にはまだ対応していません。駅から会場までの徒歩ルートは、NAVERマップかカカオマップのほうが確実です。

T-moneyカード
GS25、CU、セブン-イレブンなどのコンビニで購入でき、チャージも同じ店で現金でできます。ほとんどの都市の地下鉄・バスと、ほとんどのタクシーで使えます。
地図アプリ
徒歩やバスのルート検索にはNAVERマップかカカオマップを使いましょう。Google マップは韓国ではまだ徒歩ルートを案内できません。どちらのアプリも英語表示に切り替えられます。NAVERマップはメニュー（≡）→設定→言語で切り替えでき、日本語・中国語も選べます。カカオマップはメニュー（≡）→設定→アプリ設定→言語で切り替えます。項目が見当たらない場合は、スマートフォンの言語設定を変えてからアプリを開き直してください。小さな店の名前や一部の口コミは韓国語のままです。

祭りの前後に寄れる場所
シャトルバスや帰りの終電・最終バスに間に合う範囲で、祭りの前後に立ち寄れる場所です。
祭りの会場にある屋内施設で、微生物ミュージアム、「酵母サピエンス館」、フードサイエンス館、子ども科学館が発酵・微生物・酵母を紹介しています。11月～2月は10:00～17:00（最終入場16:30）なので日中に回りましょう。土曜は19:00のキャンプが始まる前に閉まります。通常は大人₩3,000（共通券₩4,000）で、祭りの期間中に無料になるかは記載がありません。寒い屋外で過ごす合間に暖まれる場所です。

韓国の発酵調味料を紹介する郡立の無料博物館です。コチュジャンとテンジャンの種類や歴史、作り方を展示し、入口ではコチュジャンおばあさんのロボットが出迎えます。臼で大豆をつく、顕微鏡で発酵を観察するなどの体験コーナーもあります。冬は09:00～17:00（12:00～13:00は休憩、月曜休館）なので、午前の遅めか午後の早い時間に行きましょう。日曜は祭りと同時に閉館します。子ども連れにいちばん手軽な屋内スポットです。

郡が1997年に家族経営のコチュジャン作りの家を集めた通りで、店ではコチュジャン、テンジャン（みそ）、しょうゆ、漬物を売っています。2026年の祭りは民俗村まで会場を広げ（ARスタンプラリーのルートも通ります）、見学は09:00～19:00なので、日曜17:00の終了後もお土産のコチュジャンを買う時間があります。荷物にならないよう買い物は最後にし、約3km離れたバスターミナルへ向かう時間は残しておきましょう。

帰りがいちばんの難所です。会場は淳昌のバスターミナルから約3km離れていて、祭りのシャトルバスは発表されておらず、ソウル行きの数少ない直行バスは祭りの終了前に出てしまう可能性があります。着いたらターミナルで帰りの時刻を確認し、ターミナルまでのタクシーか農村バスの時間も見ておいてください。光州・南原・全州を経由して遅く帰るなら、KTXの終電をKorail+アプリ（코레일+）で確認してください。1泊するのも手です。

確認できなかったこと
- Japanese and Chinese names: no KTO or official foreign-language name was found (the KTO Japanese data page shows the Korean name only).
- 2026 food prices and whether QR-code phone ordering returns; the ₩2,000 bowl price is from 2025.
- Return buses from Sunchang to Namwon, Gwangju, Jeonju and Jeongeup: only the inbound direction was found. KTX times and fares to Namwon and Jeongeup, and the Jeonju–Sunchang bus, were not verified; direct buses from Dong Seoul or Seoul Nambu were not checked.
- Taxi time and fare from Sunchang bus terminal to the grounds, and times of the rural buses to the folk village stop.
- 2026 parking plan, any festival shuttle, and the Saturday closing time for food booths (the schedule shows Saturday as '10:00 to next day' because of camping).
- Ticketlink booking dates, capacity and the cooking-show price, and whether foreign visitors can book without a Korean phone number.
- The 2026 schedule page's layout is hard to read; one or two programme slots may be grouped differently from the organizer's intent, so check the official schedule.
