Notes on the 2026 edition
Theme "Spring Garden, All Together" (봄의 정원, 모두 함께). The first blossoms opened on 29 March, with peak bloom expected on 3–4 April. Bicycles and electric scooters were banned on site; safety was handled with AI CCTV monitoring, a disaster-response bus and the district's integrated control centre. A ticketing-platform listing (NOL World) showed 8–12 April 2026, which conflicts with KTO and news reports.
About the festival
The Yeouido Spring Flower Festival is Yeongdeungpo-gu's free cherry-blossom festival on Yeouiseo-ro (Yunjung-ro), a 1.7 km riverside road behind the National Assembly in Seoul that closes to cars for about a week and is lined with about 1,886 cherry trees, lit after dark. The 2026 edition ran 3–7 April, 11:30–21:30; the 2027 dates follow the bloom forecast and are expected in late March or the first half of April, not yet announced. Take Line 9 to National Assembly Station, Exit 1, or Line 5 to Yeouinaru Station, Exit 1, about 15 minutes on foot.
Transport, booking, crowd and accessibility details are on the main Yeouido Spring Flower Festival page, which covers every edition.
