Notes on the 2025 edition

Announced on 13 March 2025 for 4–8 April. After an emergency meeting on 1 April the district postponed it to 8–12 April because of the safety risk from crowds expected around the National Assembly before and after the verdict in President Yoon Suk Yeol's impeachment trial. The opening stage event and the Black Eagles flyover were cancelled and some programmes scaled down. 12 toilets, a medical room and a baby rest area were on site.

About the festival

The Yeouido Spring Flower Festival is Yeongdeungpo-gu's free cherry-blossom festival on Yeouiseo-ro (Yunjung-ro), a 1.7 km riverside road behind the National Assembly in Seoul that closes to cars for about a week and is lined with about 1,886 cherry trees, lit after dark. The 2026 edition ran 3–7 April, 11:30–21:30; the 2027 dates follow the bloom forecast and are expected in late March or the first half of April, not yet announced. Take Line 9 to National Assembly Station, Exit 1, or Line 5 to Yeouinaru Station, Exit 1, about 15 minutes on foot.

Transport, booking, crowd and accessibility details are on the main Yeouido Spring Flower Festival page, which covers every edition.
