活動特色
浦項面向迎日灣，是POSCO（浦項製鐵）鋼鐵廠的所在地；自2012年起，這座城市每年秋天都舉辦一場把鋼鐵當作藝術材料的慶典，韓國媒體稱之為國內唯一的同類慶典。雕塑家、學生、市民和浦項的鋼鐵企業以鋼鐵創作或展出作品，大多陳列在海濱的戶外，許多作品在慶典結束後也留在城裡：2023年時，前11屆約有191件作品仍設置在浦項各處。早期幾屆以大型作品為號召，例如2016年POSCO維修部門的員工以鋼鐵打造了近乎等比例的慶州瞻星臺複製品。從2024年起，主辦單位不再以委託大型新作為重點，轉而重新詮釋既有館藏，並吸引觀眾、鋼鐵工人和企業參與。
2026年的藝術節從10月24日（週六）持續到11月15日（週日），主題為「琢磨」（탁마，指兩物相互摩擦、彼此砥礪），英文為「Iron sharpens iron, Potatoes sharpen potatoes」（鐵磨鐵，馬鈴薯磨馬鈴薯）。依藝術節自己的算法，這是第15屆，重心也從2023–2025年的大本營迎日臺海水浴場，移到了舊東濱內港。主要室內場館東濱文化倉庫1969（동빈문화창고1969）原是1969年建成的港口製冰冷藏倉庫，如今改建為展覽空間，樓上有一間面海的咖啡館。周邊共有四個單元：松島海水浴場一帶的展覽、倉庫內的攝影展、Art436和松島海水浴場的雕塑與攝影展，以及與韓東大學合作、在市中心商店街進行的公共建築計畫。由市民組成的「鐵文化企劃團」從8月15日起就舉辦工作坊、市民旅行社、詩歌和研討會等活動。
各年齡層均免費入場。有幾點要先知道：這是分散在多個場地的當代藝術展，不是有舞台和小吃攤的慶典；展品說明和講座都使用韓語；韓國觀光公社沒有列出週一的開放時間；浦項站位於市區西北邊緣，最後一段要搭計程車或市區公車。到了11月，海邊的風已經很涼。可以順道去迎日臺海水浴場、環湖公園的Space Walk，或2026年11月6日至12日舉行的浦項國際音樂節。

交通方式
從首爾出發
從首爾站搭KTX到浦項站約2小時20分鐘至2小時30分鐘；水西站也有列車，自2026年9月1日KTX與SRT整併後，兩者都可在韓國鐵道公社（KORAIL）的App和英文網站上訂票。浦項站位於市區西北側的興海邑，最後一段請搭計程車或浦項市區公車前往北區Seonchak-ro（선착로）78號的東濱文化倉庫1969；這一段的路線和所需時間，本頁未能查證。松島海水浴場在東濱港對岸約2公里處，Art436和市中心的場地也都在同一個中心區域。東首爾綜合客運站也有開往浦項客運站的市外巴士。
從釜山出發
東海線列車從釜田站開往浦項站，每天約7班，一般車廂：KTX-Eum需1小時28分鐘至1小時30分鐘（₩18,100），ITX-Maeum需1小時58分鐘至2小時06分鐘（₩13,900）。也可從海雲臺市外巴士站搭市外巴士到浦項客運站，大約每小時1班，車程1小時28分鐘，優等₩15,200；釜山綜合巴士客運站（老圃）也有開往浦項的巴士。當天的班次時間（包括回程末班車）請出發前在Korail+ App（코레일+，KTX和原SRT列車現在都在這裡預訂）或客運站確認。之後依上述方式搭計程車或浦項市區公車前往東濱文化倉庫1969。

節慶接駁車
2026年未見慶典接駁車資訊。據轉載韓國觀光公社資料的網站，東濱文化倉庫1969附近的公車站有：樂天百貨站（約62公尺；207、209、900路和양덕3〔Yangdeok 3〕路）、浦項海關站（約306公尺；包括循環121、207、209、216、600、900路）和北部市場／Chaeum醫院站（約350公尺）。從浦項站有哪些路線可到，未經查證。
回程交通
據韓國觀光公社資料，週二至週六21:00閉館，週日18:00閉館。慶典期間從浦項開往首爾站和水西的末班車尚未查證；而且慶典期間的2026年11月1日起Korail將改用新時刻表。出發前請在Korail+ App（코레일+，KTX和原SRT列車現在都在這裡預訂）或浦項站確認末班車，並預留從港口到車站的計程車或公車時間（未查證），晚上的展覽早點離開，或在浦項住一晚。
停車
東濱文化倉庫1969周圍有三處停車區；當地記者建議，如果停滿了，可以停到馬路對面漁船停泊處旁的停車場（2026年9月）。收費未註明。
在韓國，Google 地圖可以查詢火車、地鐵和公車路線，但還不支援步行和開車導航；從車站步行前往時，Naver Map 或 Kakao Map 較可靠。

節慶前後順遊
在不錯過接駁車與回程末班車的前提下，節慶前後可以順道去的地方。
浦項的市立美術館，位於俯瞰迎日灣的環湖公園，2009年開館，有四個展廳，以鋼鐵藝術為特色；免費入場（部分特展收費）。10月底前10:00–19:00開放，11月1日起10:00–18:00，週一休館。建議上午參觀，接著去同一座公園裡的Space Walk，再步行下到海邊和藝術節各會場（週二至週六開放到21:00）。週一最好別來：美術館休館，藝術節也沒有公布週一的開放時間。
怎麼去：在環湖公園內，位於東濱文化倉庫1969以北約3公里，搭計程車很快就到
德國藝術家Heike Mutter和Ulrich Genth創作的可行走鋼鐵雕塑：形似雲霄飛車的軌道長333公尺、共717級階梯、高25公尺，立在環湖公園的山丘上，可以眺望迎日灣和POSCO鋼鐵廠；免費。10月平日10:00–20:00、週末10:00–21:00開放，夜間點燈；但11月1日起只開到17:00和18:00，屆時請趁天亮前往。雨天、強風天和每月第一個週一（11月2日）關閉。
怎麼去：在環湖公園內，從浦項市立美術館步行上坡即到；從倉庫搭計程車約3公里
- 迎日臺海水浴場 (영일대해수욕장)前後皆可
浦項長1.75公里的市區海灘，離岸約100公尺處有一座以步道橋相連的韓國第一座海上樓閣「迎日臺」，夜間點燈；本藝術節2023–2025年以這裡為大本營，沙灘上還留有往屆的鋼鐵雕塑。海灘位於環湖公園和港口之間，可以在從Space Walk前往藝術節會場的路上順道走走。從樓閣沿海邊走到東濱大橋要40至50分鐘；如果要趕浦項站的火車，請改搭計程車。
