冰層狀況： 冰釣取決於冰層狀況。主辦單位只在冰層達到安全厚度後才開放釣場，遇到回暖或降雨後會關閉或延後開放；暖冬年份曾有節慶延期或取消。出發前一天請查看主辦單位公告。
活動特色
冰魚（即公魚）只生活在非常乾淨的水中。麟蹄郡自1998年起以在昭陽湖冰面上鑿洞釣冰魚為主題舉辦冬季慶典，常被稱為韓國地方冬季慶典的先驅。慶典起源於南面Bupyeong-ri的冰魚村，過去常有家庭到這裡在結冰的湖面上釣魚；後來郡裡以一道高12公尺、長220公尺的水下堰攔住上游的一段湖灣，形成更容易管理冰層和水位的「冰魚湖」。慶典舉辦時玩法很簡單：走上冰面，坐在直徑約20公分的冰洞旁，用手線和蛆餌釣魚，釣到的魚可以沾辣椒醬生吃、油炸，或煮成辣味燉湯。2023年不收門票，24,000平方公尺的釣場（約1,400個冰洞）也免費開放，另有雪橇、冰橇、ATV和水陸兩用車Argo、重現1960年代山村的雪村，以及自2000年起與慶典同期舉行的全國冰上足球大賽。人潮可能很多：2018年開幕週末約有232,000人到訪，2023年的慶典10天內吸引超過180,000人。最需要留意的是能否如期舉辦。會場需要昭陽江水壩水位在183公尺以下，冰層厚約25公分。秋冬的大雨讓水壩水位高出好幾公尺（2023年12月為187.1公尺，2025年12月為186.84公尺，平常年份為177.63公尺），加上天氣溫和、冰層太薄，慶典連續三個冬天（2024年、2025年和2026年）取消。2021年因COVID-19疫情取消；2010年曾因水位過高把會場移到麟蹄大橋一帶；2018年的慶典則被稱為歷經乾旱和暖冬後睽違四年的首次舉辦。在2018年至2026年的九個冬天中，慶典在2018年、2019年、2020年和2023年舉行，在2021年、2024年、2025年和2026年取消；未找到2022年的舉辦紀錄。郡裡於2025年12月召開居民座談會，表示將研究更換會場或準備替代活動，但截至2026年10月19日，尚未公布2027年1月的計畫。如果恢復舉辦，預計免費入場，在1月下旬舉行約10天；如果沒有，距離最近的大型冰釣活動則是冰雪王國華川山鱒魚節和平昌鱒魚節。

適合對象： 最適合想在大片結冰湖面上花費不多、輕鬆冰釣一天的家庭和遊客，舉辦時入場和釣魚都免費。不過它自2023年1月之後就沒有再舉辦，因此比較適合能在12月留意公告、並在再次取消時改去華川或平昌的旅客；不適合需要確定冬季行程的人。
交通方式
從首爾出發
從東首爾綜合客運站搭市外巴士前往麟蹄郡南面的新南（신남）：2026年10月時每天14班，需1小時23分鐘至1小時45分鐘，₩12,900。從新南搭計程車前往Bupyeong-ri的冰魚湖（所查閱的資料未確認距離）。麟蹄沒有鐵路。開車的話，麟蹄位於首爾東北約165公里。
節慶接駁車
所查閱的頁面未記載2023年的慶典接駁車。2020年，旅行社Trazy推出僅限外國人的一日遊套裝行程，從弘大和明洞的飯店出發，含冰釣費用和釣竿。
回程交通
2026年10月時，從新南開往東首爾的巴士每天7班；2027年1月的時刻表未查證，慶典期間可能加開班次。2020年冰釣時間為10:00–17:00。出發前請在東首爾綜合客運站確認從新南回程的末班車。
在韓國，Google 地圖可以查詢火車、地鐵和公車路線，但還不支援步行和開車導航；從車站步行前往時，Naver Map 或 Kakao Map 較可靠。

節慶前後順遊
在不錯過接駁車與回程末班車的前提下，節慶前後可以順道去的地方。

麟蹄郡於2025年8月開放的湖畔三層展館：一樓是咖啡館，館內展出在Bupyeong-ri出土的舊石器時代至朝鮮時代文物，還有以媒體藝術呈現麟蹄四季的沉浸式影像室、冰魚垂釣體驗區，以及可俯瞰冰魚湖的屋頂觀景台。開放時間10:00–18:00（週一及國定假日休館），釣魚（2020年為10:00–17:00）前後都能順道參觀。小提醒：等計程車回新南時，可以在咖啡館裡暖暖身子。

- 散場後怎麼走節慶後
回程才是難關：2026年10月時從新南開往東首爾的巴士每天只有約7班，未見慶典接駁車，從冰魚湖到新南還得搭計程車。出發前請在東首爾綜合客運站確認回程末班車，並預留足夠時間離開冰面、搭計程車回新南。

湖上會場需要昭陽江水壩水位在183公尺以下、冰層厚約25公分。大雨使水壩水位在2023年12月達到187.1公尺、2025年12月達到186.84公尺（平常年份為177.63公尺），淹沒了部分會場，加上天氣溫和，冰層一直很薄。2021年則因COVID-19疫情取消。
