活動特色
咸平是個小小的農業郡，從光州搭巴士約30分鐘。咸平EXPO公園因2008年蝴蝶昆蟲博覽會而聞名，郡內的兩大慶典都在這裡舉行：春天是蝴蝶，秋天是菊花。菊花慶典始於2004年，如今從10月下旬一路舉辦到11月上旬，為期17天。這段期間，園內到處是被培育成大型造景、拱門和高塔的盆栽菊花，還有參賽等級的菊花盆栽和一片片秋季花圃。
每年都有不同主題。2024年是聖誕風格的「冬日故事」，有大鐘造型的拱門和菊花聖誕樹；2025年是主題樂園式的「魔法菊香樂園」，共有95件造景，其中包括12公尺高的旋轉木馬和摩天輪。2026年的主題「神話菊花園」帶來名為「神話之丘」「會說話的樹」和「水之女神」的造景、設有拍照點的主題步道，以及五座展館中的366件精品菊花盆栽。依照郡的2026年計畫，EXPO公園周邊將種植約500,000株菊花，咸平川濕地沿岸再種約400,000株，旁邊還有一條40,000平方公尺的波斯菊花道。
賞花之外，還有音樂會（The Vocal與資深歌手參與的秋季音樂會，以及開幕與閉幕演出）、沿著園區步道行進的銅管樂隊、才藝比賽，以及菊花手作、菊花茶品嚐、菊花女神服裝體驗和採香蕉等體驗活動。慶典區域也涵蓋公園的常設展館：亞熱帶農業館、自然生態館、多肉植物館、咸平回憶工作坊和黃金蝙蝠展覽館。攤位販售當地農產品、水果和盆栽菊花。2026年11月3日，KBS「全國歌唱大賽」咸平篇將在公園的特設舞台錄影。
現場票成人₩7,000，青少年與軍人₩5,000，兒童與長者₩3,000；2026年10月22日前購票可享10%折扣。成人購票時會拿到一張₩2,000的慶典優惠券（青少年與軍人為₩1,000），可在咸平郡內任何商店或慶典會場使用，等於退回部分票價。
有幾點要先知道：咸平離首爾很遠，含在光州轉車大約需要3小時；會場18:00關閉，2026年也沒有公布夜間活動；沒有找到英語活動；另外，10月17日至22日整座公園因布展而關閉，請不要在開幕日之前前往。

適合對象： 適合喜歡精緻花卉展覽、想在平坦的園區步道上輕鬆逛一整天的家庭、攝影愛好者和年長旅客；若想參加夜間活動（會場18:00關閉）、需要英語活動，或只想從首爾短程出遊，就不太合適，因為咸平單程約需3小時。
交通方式
從首爾出發
從龍山站（或水西站）搭KTX到光州松汀站，約2小時（2026年9月票價調降後，龍山站出發一般車廂為₩42,000），再搭巴士前往咸平：光州500路公車到咸平公營巴士客運站需30分鐘至1小時，錦湖高速的市外巴士每天約19班往返光州與咸平，車程約30分鐘。EXPO公園位於郡中心咸平邑的坤載路（Gonjae-ro）27號，從客運站搭計程車過去最方便。也可以搭KTX到羅州站，約2小時。較慢的方式有：首爾直達咸平的錦湖高速巴士（每天2班，約4小時30分），或從龍山站搭新村號（Saemaeul）與無窮花號（Mugunghwa）列車到咸平站（分別約4小時10分與4小時50分）。
從釜山出發
從釜山搭市外巴士到咸平約4小時（依郡觀光地圖；未註明出發客運站與班次）。
從咸平站（湖南線，新村號與無窮花號列車）到會場
Korail（韓國鐵道公社）湖南線。到EXPO公園的距離未經查證，建議搭計程車。較快的鐵路方案是搭KTX到光州松汀站或羅州站，再轉搭巴士或計程車。
節慶接駁車
查閱的網頁未公布2026年慶典接駁車資訊。
回程交通
會場18:00關閉。咸平直達首爾的巴士每天只有2班，所以多數旅客經光州返回（搭巴士30分鐘至1小時），再從光州松汀站搭KTX到龍山站或水西站（約2小時），或從光州U-Square客運站搭班次頻繁的高速巴士到首爾中央城市客運站。慶典期間的末班車與末班巴士時間未經查證，而且2026年11月1日起將改用新的KTX時刻表：請在慶典當天之前，透過Korail+ App（코레일+）或在車站確認末班KTX，並在客運站確認咸平開往光州的末班巴士，傍晚早點離開咸平。
停車
郡政府表示將為2026年慶典進行交通與停車管理；開幕前的現場檢查審視了停車營運計畫，並表示特別是週末和尖峰時段會在現場安排交通引導人員。查閱的網頁未公布停車場位置、車位數或收費。
在韓國，Google 地圖可以查詢火車、地鐵和公車路線，但還不支援步行和開車導航；從車站步行前往時，Naver Map 或 Kakao Map 較可靠。

- 主辦單位預計2026年的17天內將有數十萬名遊客，多於往年；11月3日KBS「全國歌唱大賽」錄影當天，特設舞台周邊會更加擁擠。
- 最佳造訪時間
- 建議在開園後不久的上午前往，拍照點人比較少；會場18:00關閉，請預留從首爾到咸平的交通時間。
- 攜帶物品
- 能走一整天園區步道的好走鞋子，並事先規劃如何使用慶典優惠券（可在咸平郡內商店或慶典會場使用）。

節慶前後順遊
在不錯過接駁車與回程末班車的前提下，節慶前後可以順道去的地方。
- 咸平郡立美術館 (함평군립미술관)前後皆可
位於EXPO公園中心的郡立美術館，建築外型像蝴蝶翅膀，三個展廳主要展出捐贈作品；展期至11月8日的「視線」（시선）展匯集了韓國近現代美術名作。慶典期間憑慶典門票即可入館。10月開放時間10:00–18:00，11月10:00–17:00，週一（10月26日和11月2日）休館。小提醒：參觀約需30分鐘，館外還有一座陳列收藏奇石的庭園。
怎麼去：在EXPO公園內，距慶典會場步行約155公尺；含在慶典門票內
- 咸平生牛肉拌飯街 (함평 생고기비빔밥 거리)節慶後
咸平邑市場周邊聚集著多家餐廳，供應咸平招牌的生牛肉拌飯：白飯配十多種蔬菜，鋪上來自當地牛市的生瘦牛肉，不用辣椒醬，而是拌入香油和以辣椒粉、蒜末、蝦醬調成的醬料，另附牛血湯。會場18:00關門後就去：其中一家花郎食堂每天10:00–19:00營業（最後點餐18:55）。小提醒：這條街靠近咸平巴士客運站，回光州的巴士也在那裡搭。
