现场体验
光州双年展是韩国历史最悠久的当代艺术双年展。韩国西南部城市光州是5·18民主化运动的发生地，1995年在这里创办了双年展，以中外公园为主场地的第1届吸引了逾165万人次观众。如今双年展由光州双年展财团运营，通常每两年一届：主展在北区龙凤洞专门兴建的光州双年展展览馆举行，由各国家、城市和艺术机构运营的参展馆则散布在全市各处的场地。
第16届的标题“你必须改变你的生活”（너는 네 삶을 바꿔야 한다）取自莱纳·玛利亚·里尔克1908年一首诗的最后一句。艺术总监为新加坡出生的艺术家何子彦，与Che Kyongfa、Gahee Park和Brian Kuan Wood共同策展，展期为2026年9月5日至11月15日，共72天。主展全部在展览馆内，规模有意压缩：来自22个国家的43位（组）艺术家参展，人数为历届最少，不少艺术家展出多件作品。五个展厅依“变化的尺度”依次展开：分子、个人、系统、宇宙，第五个展厅以社群、儿童与俱乐部为主题，直通双年展广场，无需门票即可进入。展品包括Goldin+Senneby在地面上浇铺的约2吨松脂，以及五月母亲之家（오월어머니집）成员创作的322幅画；每晚19:00至21:00，James T. 主展之外，来自27个国家、城市和机构的28个参展馆分布在五个区。约十个集中在南区依山而建的老街区杨林洞（양림동）：墨西哥的Casa Wabi设在有百年历史的李章雨家屋（이장우 가옥），荷兰在威尔逊传教士故居（우일선 선교사 사택），加拿大在Lee Kang-ha美术馆（이강하미술관），波兰在Lee Lee-nam工作室（이이남 스튜디오）。东区市中心一带，瑞士和奥地利共用Eunam美术馆（은암미술관），菲律宾馆在5·18民主化运动记录馆，Koganecho（黄金町）参展馆在全日大厦245，国立台湾美术馆则在国立亚洲文化殿堂展出。多数参展馆开放时间为10:00–18:00、周一闭馆，但各馆开放时间和闭展日期不一，请逐一确认。
门票当天最多可重复入场5次。韩语讲解导览10:00至17:00每个整点从展厅入口出发，英语导览每周两次。接驳巴士往返于展览馆和梅谷洞的双年展停车场之间；周五至周日另有一条线路开往主要参展馆。从首尔乘KTX到光州约2小时，当天往返可行，但参展馆值得再多留一天。

从首尔出发
从龙山站（或水西站）乘KTX到光州松汀站，约2小时（2026年9月票价下调后，龙山站出发普通车厢₩42,000）。展览馆位于北区龙凤洞双年展路111号，不在光州地铁1号线沿线，从光州松汀站需打车或乘市内公交前往。也可从首尔中央城市客运站乘高速巴士到光州U-Square客运站，再打车或乘市内公交。去市中心的参展馆，可乘光州地铁1号线到文化殿堂站（문화전당）、锦南路4街站或南光州站。
从釜山出发
从釜山西部（沙上）巴士客运站（地铁2号线沙上站）乘城际巴士到光州U-Square客运站，每天23班，车程2小时57分，优等座₩28,300，Premium座₩36,800。釜山综合巴士客运站（老圃，地铁1号线老圃站）也有班车，每天16班，车程3小时03分，优等座₩31,200。到U-Square后打车或乘市内公交到展览馆。
从光州松汀站（KTX），再打车或乘公交到会场

节庆接驳车
展期内，接驳巴士每天30班往返于梅谷洞的光州双年展停车场和展览馆之间；周五、周六和周日另有一条线路连接展览馆和主要参展馆。所查资料未公布时刻表和站点。
返程
展览馆18:00闭馆（James T. Hong的外墙投影为19:00–21:00）。从光州松汀站返回龙山站和水西站的KTX（约2小时），以及光州U-Square客运站开往首尔中央城市客运站的高速巴士都运营到晚上较晚时段，但2026年11月1日起KTX将启用新时刻表：请在节庆当天之前通过Korail App（코레일+）或在车站确认末班车。请预留打车或乘公交回光州松汀站的时间。
