About this festival

탐색을 넘어 결정을 내리는 곳, K-뷰티의 모든 가치가 하나로 연결되는 〈2026 뷰티썸 수원(BeautySum Korea Suwon 2026)〉은 오는 11월 5일(목)부터 7일(토)까지 3일간 수원컨벤션센터 전시홀에서 열린다. 이 행사는 단순한 브랜드 전시를 넘어 화장품 소재와 R&D 기술력이 만나는 대한민국 차세대 뷰티 플랫폼이다.

이번 박람회는 제조부터 연구, 투자, 유통까지 뷰티 밸류체인의 전 과정을 아우르며 스킨케어, 메이크업, 헤어, 네일, 바디, 프레그런스, 더마, 에스테틱, 원료, 성분, OEM·ODM, 패키징, 이너뷰티 등 다채로운 전시 품목으로 구성된다. 특히 B2B, 인플루언서(Influencer), 글로벌(Global), 스타트업(Startup) 등 4개 분야를 집중 조명하는 ‘BIGS 특별관’을 운영해 뷰티 비즈니스의 새로운 가능성을 제시할 예정이다.

실질적인 비즈니스 창출과 글로벌 진출을 위한 프로그램도 풍성하게 마련되어 있다. 화장품 소재 세미나와 한중일 뷰티 밸류체인을 연결하는 ‘수원 글로벌 뷰티 서밋’이 개최되며, 참가기업과 글로벌 바이어를 1:1로 잇는 ‘해외바이어 수출 상담회’, 화장품 ODM사와 런칭 희망 기업을 잇는 ‘ODM 브랜드 런칭 커넥터’ 등 맞춤형 매칭 프로그램이 진행된다.

Buy one at a convenience store such as GS25, CU or 7-Eleven and top it up there with cash. It pays for subways and buses in most cities, and for most taxis.

Maps

Use Naver Map or Kakao Map for walking and bus directions; Google Maps does not yet give walking directions in Korea. Both apps can be switched to English. Naver Map: Menu (≡) → Settings → Language (Japanese and Chinese also available). Kakao Map: Menu (≡) → Settings → App settings → Language. If the option is missing, change your phone’s language and reopen the app. Small shop names and some reviews stay in Korean.

Hwaseong Haenggung Night Opening

The Hwaseong Haenggung Night Opening (화성행궁 야간개장) keeps the royal palace at the heart of Suwon's UNESCO-listed Hwaseong Fortress open after dark, lit with flower installations and hologram and laser media art under the 2026 theme 'Dalbit Hwadam'. The 2026 season runs 1 May–1 November on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays, 18:00–21:30 (last entry 21:00), so the final nights are 23–25 October and 30 October–1 November.

Semiwon Water Lily Festival

The Semiwon Water Lily Festival (세미원 수련문화제) is a two-month autumn festival at Semiwon, Gyeonggi-do's first designated local garden, on the Han River at Yangsu-ri in Yangpyeong, where Victoria, Australian and tropical water lilies take over from the summer lotuses. The 2026 edition runs 1 September to 31 October, 09:00–18:00 daily, with Saturday janggu-and-guitar performances, lotus-themed exhibitions and craft classes.

Bulchwimugwi Night Market

The Bulchwimugwi Night Market (왕의 야시장 불취무귀) is a free Saturday-evening night market in Suwon's Nammun Market district, beside Paldalmun, the south gate of Hwaseong Fortress, with food from market merchants and food trucks, a flea market, busking and a themed programme each night. First held in 2026, its second season runs 17:00–22:00 on four Saturdays, 10, 17, 24 and 31 October 2026; after 19 October the nights left are 24 October (Sundae Day) and 31 October (Joseon Ghost Day).
