どんな祭り？
錦江の河口にある港町・群山は、韓国の人が韓国式中華料理店の辛くて赤い麺料理チャンポンと聞いて思い浮かべる町のひとつです。地元の華僑が営む中華料理店はかつて60軒を超え、旧港エリアのトンニョン通りとチャンミ通りに集まっていましたが、2019年には10軒あまりに減っていました。コリア・ヘラルドによると、群山の味のルーツは、華僑の料理人が1970年代初めまで作っていた、豚・牛・鶏の骨でとったスープの麺料理「チョマミョン」で、その後地元の海産物と唐辛子粉が主役になりました。市は2018年に国の予算を獲得して藏米洞の一角をチャンポン特化通りに整え、2023年末の時点でチャンポン店が10軒ありました。老舗のビンヘウォンやホンヨンジャンもその中にあります。
祭りはこの通りから生まれました。2020年11月には非対面のオンライン版が2週間開かれました。市の案内では祭りは2022年から開かれているとされ、YTNは2025年を第4回と伝えています。2024年度の予算を市議会に全額削られて存続が危ぶまれましたが、2024年6月に₩1億5,000万が復活し、その年は11月1日～2日に特化通りで開かれました。住民の苦情を受けて近くの百年広場に会場を移し、2025年は同じ旧市街で開かれる群山時間旅行祭りと同じ10月9日～12日に行われました。
2026年は10月9日（金）～11日（日）に開かれ、韓国観光公社のデータでは12:00～22:00でした。群山の老舗中華料理店とテレビのシェフとのコラボによる約20のブースが並び、JTBC『冷蔵庫をお願い』のミカエルシェフ、Netflix『白と黒のスプーン～料理階級戦争～』で知られるデイビッド・リーシェフとイ・ミヨンシェフが参加しました。中華料理のブースはどこもチャンポンとジャージャー麺をハーフサイズで売っていたので、肉のチャンポンと海鮮のチャンポンを食べ比べできました。昼は家族向けのゲームや体験、夜は生演奏付きの屋外ダイニング「チャンポン・レストラン」がありました。3日間で約80,000人が訪れました。
注意点もあります。行列の祭りです。スターシェフのブースには長い列ができ、2025年の後には市の祭り委員会が、待ち時間の長さ、早い時間の食材切れ、有名店とそうでない店の人気の差を指摘しました。料理の値段や英語のプログラムは公表されておらず、開催時期も11月と10月の間で動いているので、予約は2027年の発表を待ってからにしましょう。祭りの時期以外でも特化通りでいつでも群山のチャンポンが食べられ、藏米洞の植民地時代の建物もすぐそばです。

ソウルから
ソウル高速バスターミナル（セントラルシティ、湖南線）から、Haemang-ro（해망로）にある群山高速バスターミナルへ高速バスで行きます。群山発ソウル行きの時刻表では終日運行（05:00～22:00に50本）、所要2時間54分、一般₩16,400、優等₩23,900、プレミアム₩31,000です。ターミナルからはタクシーか市内バスで藏米洞の百年広場へ。鉄道の場合、群山へのKTXはありません。長項線のSaemaeul号とMugunghwa号が龍山駅から群山駅まで1日14～15本（05:32～20:43）走り、所要3時間7分～3時間35分、Saemaeul号₩21,600、Mugunghwa号₩14,500です。群山駅は旧市街から離れたネフン洞にあるので、タクシーか市内バスに乗り継ぎます。より速い鉄道ルートは龍山駅から益山駅へのKTX（通常1時間17分～1時間25分）で、そこから群山へ乗り継ぎますが、乗り継ぎの時刻は確認していません。
釜山から
釜山総合バスターミナル（老圃、地下鉄1号線老圃駅）から、Haemang-ro（해망로）18にある群山市外バスターミナルまで市外バスが1日7本（08:05～19:00）、所要3時間35分、優等₩38,000です（掲載されている等級は優等のみ）。群山高速バスターミナルには釜山との路線はありません。その後は上記のとおり、タクシーか市内バスで藏米洞の百年広場へ向かいます。

シャトルバス
2024～2026年の祭りのシャトルバスは見つかりませんでした。旧港エリアには群山近代歴史博物館の名前のついた市内バス停（근대역사박물관）があり、博物館から徒歩約1分です。
帰り方
2026年の祭りは22:00まででした。2026年10月17日～23日の時刻表で群山発龍山行きの最後の列車は、Saemaeul号19:25発（22:48着）とMugunghwa号20:26発（23:55着）です。群山発ソウル・セントラルシティ行きの高速バスは22:00発（プレミアム。22:00発は深夜料金で₩37,200）まであります。夜の「チャンポン・レストラン」まで楽しむなら、群山に宿を取りましょう。
駐車場
祭りの駐車案内は見つかりませんでした。2026年5月の訪問者向けガイドによると、群山近代歴史博物館の駐車場は週末の朝早くに満車になり、鎮浦海洋テーマパーク、内港のそば、百年広場、藏米洞の公共駐車場が紹介されていて、いずれも無料とされています。ただし祭りの期間は広場そのものが会場になるので、バスかタクシーで来てください。
Google マップは韓国では電車・地下鉄・バスの経路を表示できますが、徒歩や車のルート案内にはまだ対応していません。駅から会場までの徒歩ルートは、NAVERマップかカカオマップのほうが確実です。

徒歩やバスのルート検索にはNAVERマップかカカオマップを使いましょう。Google マップは韓国ではまだ徒歩ルートを案内できません。どちらのアプリも英語表示に切り替えられます。NAVERマップはメニュー（≡）→設定→言語で切り替えでき、日本語・中国語も選べます。カカオマップはメニュー（≡）→設定→アプリ設定→言語で切り替えます。項目が見当たらない場合は、スマートフォンの言語設定を変えてからアプリを開き直してください。小さな店の名前や一部の口コミは韓国語のままです。

周辺の見どころ
- 群山チャンポン特化通り (군산 짬뽕특화거리) — 藏米洞の祭り会場の近く。2018年に獲得した国の予算で整備された飲食店街で、2023年時点で10軒のチャンポン店があり、ビンヘウォンやホンヨンジャンもあります。2024年の祭りはここで開かれました。
- 群山近代建築館 (군산근대건축관) — 百年広場の隣。1922年の銀行の建物（旧朝鮮銀行の支店）で、旧市街の近代建築や銀行の歴史を紹介。月曜休館。
