  • About 1.4 km of lights in four themed zones across the beach, Gunam-ro, Haeundae Market and the hot spring road
  • A 40 m media zone at the beach event plaza showing five works by Korean media artists, each 7 minutes 30 seconds long
  • 'Milky Way Garden' of Haeundae's four seasons between the Grand Chosun Hotel and the Busan Aquarium, with a colour-changing (dichroic) photo zone
  • Weekend activities on Gunam-ro (MBTI counselling, neon face painting, candle making); live busking on 8, 22 and 24 Dec, 19:00–20:00; dance street shows on 2 and 23 Dec
  • Sat 23 Dec 16:30–20:30 on the beach stage: '100 Santas' send-off, carol contest and carol light concert
  • Receipt prize draw at Gunam-ro and Haeundae Market shops, Fridays to Sundays 17:00–22:00

10th edition; theme "Hope, once again in light" (희망, 빛으로 다시 한번). Daily lighting hours were not found in the sources opened.

About the festival

The Haeundae Light Festival (해운대 빛축제) is Haeundae-gu's free winter illumination along Gunam-ro, the street from Haeundae Station down to the sea, and on the sand of Haeundae Beach in Busan, held every winter since 2014. The 13th edition runs 28 November 2026–10 January 2027, as listed in Haeundae-gu Office's 2026 events calendar, which notes that dates may change; lighting hours and the programme are not yet published. The 12th edition ran 29 November 2025–18 January 2026, lit 18:00–23:00 daily. Take Busan Metro Line 2 to Haeundae Station, Exit 3 or 5.
