About the festival

The Cheongju Craft Biennale (청주공예비엔날레) is an international contemporary-craft exhibition held every two years since 1999 and, since 2011, at the Culture Factory, a converted tobacco plant in Cheongju, North Chungcheong. The 15th edition is planned for 2 September–31 October 2027, according to the organizer's 2027 competition notice; the 2025 edition ran 60 days, 10:00–19:00 and closed on Mondays, and drew more than 400,000 visitors. Tickets in 2025 cost ₩12,000 for adults (₩8,000 youth, ₩6,000 children); 2027 prices have not been announced. From Seoul, express buses reach Cheongju in about 1 h 52 m (₩14,000), then a city bus or taxi takes you to the Culture Factory.

Transport, booking, crowd and accessibility details are on the main Cheongju Craft Biennale page, which covers every edition.
