活動特色
夢想公園是首都圈垃圾掩埋場的綠地。這座巨大的掩埋場位於仁川西北邊緣，處理首都圈約2,500萬人口的垃圾。園內的野花園區是在昔日煤灰堆置場上打造的都市森林，面積約等於60座足球場，種有約300種植物，並設有濕地木棧道、觀景台、步道和狗狗遊戲區。營運單位首都圈掩埋場管理公社（SLC）每年4月至11月開放園區，並舉辦季節活動，例如春季的櫻花散步活動。
菊花節的歷史比園區4月至11月的常態開放還早，過去野花園區只在慶典期間開放。SLC將2013年的慶典稱為第10屆；2010年代初期，這是全國人氣最旺的花卉活動之一：根據公社統計，2013年約有153萬人次、2014年約有220萬人次造訪，大多數人開車前來。2015年慶典縮小規模，改名為「夢想公園秋日出遊」（드림파크 가을나들이），停辦六年後，2024年以原名重新登場。2024年辦了12天，2025年辦了14天。
2026年的慶典於10月16日至25日舉行，為期十天。向日葵、粉黛亂子草、百日草、硫華菊、柳葉馬鞭草、山桃草和萬壽菊組成的大片花田，襯托著菊花與花草造景、菊花盆栽和雕塑，園區各處都有拍照點。活動包括邀請歌手與在地藝文團體演出的「夢想公園秋季音樂會」、兒童魔術秀、人人都能報名的歌唱比賽「夢想公園海選」、消防安全體驗、戶外圖書館，以及結合環境教育的掩埋場導覽。美食市集由掩埋場周邊村落的居民經營，只用可重複使用的容器盛裝。查閱的網頁並未公布各場演出的日期和時間。
老實說：夢想公園不在主要公車路線上，從車站也走不到，沒開車的話，最後一段只能搭公車再步行，或搭計程車。週末人潮多，免費停車場會停滿。園區範圍很大，要走不少路；而且花卉是種在掩埋場的再生土地上，並不是歷史庭園。17:00停止入場。

從首爾出發
從首爾站搭AREX（機場鐵路）普通車到黔岩站：共7站，約30多分鐘。黔岩站也有仁川2號線停靠。在3號出口馬路對面的公車站（站牌編號42851，黔岩國中旁）搭43號公車。一份指南說在第四站（夢想公園游泳館對面）下車，穿過游泳館停車場走到後方的園區；另一份指南則寫在活龍寺入口站（활룡사입구）下車，步行約17分鐘。從黔岩站搭計程車完成最後一段最省事。多數遊客是開車前來，使用免費停車場。
從釜山出發
從釜山搭KTX到首爾站，再依上述方式搭AREX到黔岩站，轉乘43號公車或計程車。
從仁川機場出發
從任一航廈搭往首爾方向的AREX普通車到黔岩站，再依上述方式轉乘43號公車或計程車。開車從機場出發約40分鐘。
從黔岩站到會場

節慶接駁車
查閱的網頁中，2024年、2025年和2026年都沒有公布慶典接駁車；主辦單位與市政府的公告也沒有提供大眾運輸資訊。
回程交通
17:00停止入場、18:00閉園，時間相當充裕。慶典期間回黔岩站的43號公車末班車，以及從黔岩站往首爾方向的AREX末班車都未查證，出發前請用Kakao Map或到黔岩站確認。
停車
免費。一份親子指南列出第1、第2、第3停車場和夢想公園體育中心停車場。慶典期間週末車多，請提早抵達；在主辦單位2014年的調查中，多數遊客是開車前來。
在韓國，Google 地圖可以查詢火車、地鐵和公車路線，但還不支援步行和開車導航；從車站步行前往時，Naver Map 或 Kakao Map 較可靠。

節慶前後順遊
在不錯過接駁車與回程末班車的前提下，節慶前後可以順道去的地方。
京仁阿拉運河沿岸的水岸公園，這條運河連接漢江與仁川海岸，公園就在黔岩站後方：可以沿河岸散步，兩岸都有自行車道，Sicheon公園附近可租自行車，入夜後附近的橋樑點燈。很適合回程順路：慶典17:00停止入場、18:00閉園，運河公園全天開放、免費，AREX也在同一站。去運河請走1號出口；43號公車站在3號出口馬路對面。

- Japanese and Chinese names for the festival were not found (names left null); Creatrip writes the park as 仁川ドリームパーク野生花団地.
- First held 2004 is derived from 2013 being the 10th edition; edition numbers after 2015, whether it ran in 2016–2018 (implied by '6 years' before 2024), and the 2026 edition number are unconfirmed.
- Last entry: KTO says 17:00, a family guide 15:00; Telltrip and The Soul of Seoul give general park hours of 10:00–17:00.
- Bus 43 frequency, the right stop (fourth stop opposite the aquatics centre or 활룡사입구), the walking time and the last bus back to Geomam were not verified; Incheon Line 2 stations nearer the site were not checked.
