现场体验
梦想公园是首都圈填埋场的绿色一面。这座巨大的填埋场位于仁川西北边缘，接收约2,500万人口的首都圈产生的垃圾。园内的野生花卉园区是在昔日煤灰堆放场上建成的城市森林，面积约相当于60个足球场，种有约300种植物，还有湿地栈道、观景台、散步道和狗狗乐园。运营方首都圈填埋场管理公社（SLC）每年4月至11月开放园区，并在这里举办春季樱花漫步等季节性活动。
菊花节的历史比园区4月至11月的常态开放还要早，过去野生花卉园区只在庆典期间开放。SLC将2013年的庆典称为第10届；2010年代初，它是全国人气最旺的花卉活动之一：据公社统计，2013年约有153万人次、2014年约有220万人次到访，大多数人自驾前来。2015年庆典缩小规模，改名为“梦想公园秋日出游”（드림파크 가을나들이），中断六年后于2024年恢复原名重新举办。2024年这一届为期12天，2025年为期14天。
2026年这一届于10月16日至25日举行，为期十天。大片的向日葵、粉黛乱子草、百日草、硫华菊、柳叶马鞭草、山桃草和万寿菊花田，环绕着菊花与花草造型、菊花盆景和雕塑展品，园内各处都设有拍照点。活动包括邀请歌手和当地艺术团体演出的“梦想公园秋季音乐会”、儿童魔术表演、人人都可报名的歌唱比赛“梦想公园海选”、消防安全体验、户外图书馆，以及结合环境教育的填埋场导览。美食市集由填埋场周边村庄的居民经营，只使用可重复使用的餐具。所查阅的页面没有公布各场演出的日期和时间。
需要坦白的是：梦想公园不在主要公交线路上，从车站也无法步行到达，没有车的话最后一段只能坐公交再步行，或者打车。周末人多，免费停车场会停满。园区面积很大，要走不少路；而且花展布置在填埋复垦地上，并非历史园林。17:00停止入场。

交通指南
从首尔出发
从首尔站乘AREX（机场铁路）普通列车到黔岩站：共7站，约30多分钟。黔岩站也是仁川地铁2号线的车站。在3号出口马路对面的公交站（站牌编号42851，靠近黔岩中学）乘43路公交。一份指南说在第4站（梦想公园游泳馆对面）下车，穿过游泳馆的停车场就到后方的园区；另一份指南写的下车站是活龙寺入口（활룡사입구），下车后步行约17分钟。最后一段直接从黔岩站打车更省事。大多数游客自驾前来，使用免费停车场。
从釜山出发
从釜山乘KTX到首尔站，再按上文乘AREX到黔岩站，换乘43路公交或打车。
从仁川机场出发
在任一航站楼乘AREX普通列车往首尔方向到黔岩站，再按上文乘43路公交或打车。从机场自驾约40分钟。

节庆接驳车

节庆前后顺路去
在不错过接驳车和返程末班车的前提下，节庆前后可以顺路去的地方。
京仁阿拉运河沿岸的水岸公园，这条运河连接汉江和仁川海岸，公园就在黔岩站后面：可以沿河岸散步，两岸都有自行车道，Sicheon公园附近可以租自行车，入夜后附近的桥梁亮灯。很适合回程顺路：庆典17:00停止入场、18:00闭园，运河公园全天开放、免费，AREX也在同一车站。小贴士：去运河走1号出口；43路公交站在3号出口马路对面。

- First held 2004 is derived from 2013 being the 10th edition; edition numbers after 2015, whether it ran in 2016–2018 (implied by '6 years' before 2024), and the 2026 edition number are unconfirmed.
- Last entry: KTO says 17:00, a family guide 15:00; Telltrip and The Soul of Seoul give general park hours of 10:00–17:00.
- Bus 43 frequency, the right stop (fourth stop opposite the aquatics centre or 활룡사입구), the walking time and the last bus back to Geomam were not verified; Incheon Line 2 stations nearer the site were not checked.
