About this festival

고양시농업기술센터가 오는 31일부터 11월 1일까지 ‘제13회 고양시 도시농업축제’를 연다. 이번 축제는 흙에서 싹트고 도시에서 자라는 도시농업의 순환 과정과 고양시민이 함께 만드는 농부 공동체 가치를 경험하기 위해 기획됐다. 축제를 한층 알차게 즐기는 방법은 ‘성장형 체험프로그램’ 참여다. 방문객을 대상으로 진행 본부에서 제공하는 퀘스트 스탬프의 도시농부 자격 인증 카드를 받아 파종→관리→수확→활용의 4단계를 차례로 체험하며 농사의 1년 과정을 경험하고 스탬프를 채운다. 이후 팸플릿을 본부에 제출하면 완주 보상으로 기념 선물을 받을 수 있다. 또한 도심 속에서 흙과 꽃, 허브를 직접 만지며 스트레스 해소와 심신 안정을 돕는 현장 체험이 다양하게 마련돼 있다. 이를 위해 치유농업 체험 프로그램에 참여할 사전 체험단 모집 신청도 받는다. 사전 모집 기간은 28일까지이고, 참가비는 전액 무료다. 행사장은 4개의 체험존과 농가장터로 꾸며진다. 도시농업존에서는 씨드밤 만들기, 쪽파 심기, 곤충 표본 공방, 장수풍뎅이 체험 등을, 치유농업존에서는 친환경 계피물 만들기, 허브 족욕 티백·장미꽃 엽서 만들기를 운영한다. 미래농업존은 찾아가는 식물병원, 미래 곤충농업과 도시형 농업을, 농경문화존에서는 가와지쌀 밥 먹기 체험, 농기계 전시와 새끼줄 리스 만들기를 선보인다. 농가장터에서는 친환경 농산물, 화훼·다육식물을 판매한다.

If the option is missing, change your phone’s language and reopen the app. Small shop names and some reviews stay in Korean.

Hwaseong Haenggung Night Opening

The Hwaseong Haenggung Night Opening (화성행궁 야간개장) keeps the royal palace at the heart of Suwon's UNESCO-listed Hwaseong Fortress open after dark, lit with flower installations and hologram and laser media art under the 2026 theme 'Dalbit Hwadam'. The 2026 season runs 1 May–1 November on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays, 18:00–21:30 (last entry 21:00), so the final nights are 23–25 October and 30 October–1 November.

Semiwon Water Lily Festival

The Semiwon Water Lily Festival (세미원 수련문화제) is a two-month autumn festival at Semiwon, Gyeonggi-do's first designated local garden, on the Han River at Yangsu-ri in Yangpyeong, where Victoria, Australian and tropical water lilies take over from the summer lotuses. The 2026 edition runs 1 September to 31 October, 09:00–18:00 daily, with Saturday janggu-and-guitar performances, lotus-themed exhibitions and craft classes.

Bulchwimugwi Night Market

The Bulchwimugwi Night Market (왕의 야시장 불취무귀) is a free Saturday-evening night market in Suwon's Nammun Market district, beside Paldalmun, the south gate of Hwaseong Fortress, with food from market merchants and food trucks, a flea market, busking and a themed programme each night. First held in 2026, its second season runs 17:00–22:00 on four Saturdays, 10, 17, 24 and 31 October 2026; after 19 October the nights left are 24 October (Sundae Day) and 31 October (Joseon Ghost Day).
