2026 울산 스타트업 페스타는 2026년 11월 5일부터 6일까지 이틀간 울산전시컨벤션센터(UECO) 1층 A홀에서 개최되는 창업·스타트업 행사이다. 행사 슬로건은 ‘BRIDGE TO INNOVATION’이며, 스타트업의 제품과 기술 전시, 강연, 투자 상담 및 비즈니스 교류 프로그램으로 구성된 행사이다.
주요 프로그램은 개막식과 기조연설, 분야별 컨퍼런스, 스타트업 IR 피칭, 네트워킹 및 상담회이다. 메인무대와 서브무대에서는 강연과 기업 발표 등이 진행되며, 전시 공간은 기업과 기관의 부스 및 창업도시관으로 구성된 공간이다. 스타트업 IR 피칭은 참가 기업이 사업 모델과 제품·서비스를 소개하는 프로그램이다. 네트워킹 및 상담회는 기업과 투자자, 유관기관 관계자가 사업 정보를 교류하고 협력 가능성을 논의하는 프로그램이다. 일반 참관객을 위한 대중 세션에는 방송인 홍석천이 참여할 예정이며, 창업 관계자와 일반 시민이 함께 참여할 수 있는 행사이다. 이외에도 체험 공간과 플리마켓, F&B 부스 등 참관객 참여 및 편의를 위한 공간을 함께 운영하는 행사이다.

112 for police, 119 for fire and ambulance. Both are free from any phone. Police on 112 can add an English or Chinese interpreter to the call.
Buy one at a convenience store such as GS25, CU or 7-Eleven and top it up there with cash. It pays for subways and buses in most cities, and for most taxis.
Use Naver Map or Kakao Map for walking and bus directions; Google Maps does not yet give walking directions in Korea. Both apps can be switched to English. Naver Map: Menu (≡) → Settings → Language (Japanese and Chinese also available). Kakao Map: Menu (≡) → Settings → App settings → Language. If the option is missing, change your phone’s language and reopen the app. Small shop names and some reviews stay in Korean.
Book trains on Korail’s English site and express buses on Kobus. Holiday weekends sell out first.

The Ulsan Whale Festival (울산고래축제) is a free four-day festival at the Jangsaengpo Whale Culture Special Zone in Nam-gu, Ulsan, a former whaling port that is now Korea's only whale-culture district. The 30th edition ran from Thursday 15 to Sunday 18 October 2026, 10:00–21:00, with a whale parade, fireworks, concerts and children's programmes.
Ulsan Jung-gu Heritage Night (울산 중구 국가유산야행) is a free three-evening heritage festival in the old town of Jung-gu, Ulsan, held at Ulsan Dongheon, the Joseon-era magistrate's office, with its inner quarters (Naea), and at the Gyeongsang Jwado Byeongyeongseong army-command fortress. The 2026 edition runs Friday 23 to Sunday 25 October 2026, 17:00–22:00 each evening, with a magistrate's procession, performances, civil- and military-official experiences, night lighting and a stamp tour.
