About this festival

2026 지중해마을 문화축제는 2026년 10월 31일 충청남도 아산시 탕정면 지중해마을 일원에서 개최되는 문화예술축제이다. ‘Blooming Day – 골목에서 만나는 예술과 마켓’을 주제로 지중해마을의 골목과 거리를 활용한 문화예술 체험, 플리마켓, 거리공연 등 다양한 프로그램으로 구성된다.

주요 프로그램은 테마골목 스탬프 투어, 지중해마을 플리마켓, 거리 퍼레이드, 거리극, 버스킹 공연 등이다. 테마골목 스탬프 투어는 화가의 거리, 보물의 거리, 용기의 거리 등 5개 골목에서 운영되며, 어반스케치, 캐리커처, 공방 체험, 오디세이 모티브 게임 등 골목별 특색을 반영한 체험 프로그램으로 구성된다.

플리마켓은 파르테논길을 중심으로 지역 상가와 외부 판매자가 참여하는 42개 매대 규모로 계획되어 있다. 이와 함께 마칭밴드 퍼레이드, 거리극, 버스킹 공연 및 먹거리존이 운영될 예정이다.

축제는 지중해마을의 기존 골목과 상업공간을 문화예술 및 체험 공간으로 활용하고, 지역 상인과 방문객이 함께 참여하는 지역 문화축제이다.

Buy one at a convenience store such as GS25, CU or 7-Eleven and top it up there with cash. It pays for subways and buses in most cities, and for most taxis.

Maps

Use Naver Map or Kakao Map for walking and bus directions; Google Maps does not yet give walking directions in Korea. Both apps can be switched to English. Naver Map: Menu (≡) → Settings → Language (Japanese and Chinese also available). Kakao Map: Menu (≡) → Settings → App settings → Language. If the option is missing, change your phone’s language and reopen the app. Small shop names and some reviews stay in Korean.

Hongseong Namdang Port King Prawn Festival

The Hongseong Namdang Port King Prawn Festival (홍성남당항 대하축제) is a two-month seafood festival at Namdang Port on Cheonsu Bay in Seobu-myeon, Hongseong, Chungcheongnam-do, where the port's restaurants and stalls sell in-season daeha prawns, usually salt-grilled, with weekend shows and bare-hand prawn catching. The 31st edition runs 4 September–8 November 2026, 09:00–24:00, with free entry; prawns are sold at one festival price of ₩45,000 per kg to take away or ₩60,000 per kg in restaurants.

Janghang 1931 Night Tour

Janghang 1931 Night Tour is a new evening culture event, first held in 2026, at the old Janghang Station in Seocheon County, South Chungcheong, a 1930 railway station that is now a culture space called Janghang Urban Exploration Station. It runs on four evenings only, 17:00–21:00 on 10, 17, 30 and 31 October 2026, each with its own theme drawn from the port town's modern history; the last two are Friday 30 October (old-style tearoom café night) and Saturday 31 October (food night).

Hongseong Global Barbecue Festival

The Hongseong Global Barbecue Festival (홍성글로벌바비큐페스티벌) is a four-day barbecue and meat festival held in and around Hongju-eupseong, the walled old town in the centre of Hongseong, Chungcheongnam-do, with grill zones, visiting barbecue teams, discounted local beef and pork, and evening concerts. Hongseong County has confirmed the fourth edition for Thursday 29 October to Sunday 1 November 2026.
