どんな祭り？
巨済市は2006年に秋の花の展示会として始めて以来、毎年秋にこの祭りを開いています。会場は巨済面にある市の農業開発院の芝生広場、温室、実証圃場で、広さは合わせて約14ha。隣の巨済植物園にも広がり、そのガラス温室「ジャングルドーム」は一年を通してこの地域の人気スポットです。第19回の2025年は、30,000株を超える菊、100点を超える大型の菊の造形物（イルカやバショウカジキなど）、大温室に並ぶ300点を超える菊の盆栽、マリーゴールドの花壇やテーマ庭園が見られました。ほかにもステージ公演、サツマイモやピーナッツ掘りなどの農業体験、ポニー乗馬があり、18:00～20:00には「光の庭園」がライトアップされました。入場と駐車は無料でした。16日間で約300,000人が訪れ、その内訳は9日間の本祭（11月1～9日）が約236,000人、その後の自由観覧の1週間が約65,000人です。
2026年は祭りが開かれません。巨済では2026年8月15日から956.1mmの雨が降り、祭り会場全体が水没して、建物によっては水位が約2.5mに達しました。菊の造形物が損傷し、展示用に育てていた約24,000株の菊が失われました。市は8月19日、10月30日～11月8日に予定していた第20回の中止を決めました。自然災害による中止は初めてで、ほかに開かれなかったのは2021年だけです。市は2027年に祭りを再開するとしていますが、日程は発表していません。
巨済植物園も浸水しましたが、2026年9月18日に再開し、9月23日からは通常どおり営業しています（09:30～18:00、最終入場17:00、水曜休み、大人₩5,000）。この秋、巨済面では祭りの菊の展示は見られませんが、熱帯植物のドームは楽しめます。
今後の開催についても注意点があります。巨済はソウルから遠く（バスで片道4時間以上、鉄道はなし）、プログラムは韓国語で行われ、花の見ごろは天候に左右されます。2024年は暖かい秋で開花が遅れ、菊の造形物は11月17日まで展示されました。

こんな人におすすめ： 釜山や南海岸を旅行中で、菊の造形物に囲まれて無料で1日を過ごし、隣のジャングルドームも訪ねたい家族連れ、庭園好き、写真好きに最適です。ソウルからの日帰り（バスで片道4時間以上）や、英語のプログラムが必要な人にはあまり向きません。なお2026年は8月の水害で中止になったため、訪れることはできません。

巨済へ行く鉄道はありません。ソウル南部ターミナルから巨済の古県バスターミナル行きの市外バスに乗ります。1日約20本、約4時間19分、優等₩44,400またはプレミアム₩53,800です。東ソウル総合ターミナルからは1日4本（約4時間41分、₩47,400）。または、KTXで釜山駅へ行き（一般室₩54,400）、釜山の地下鉄で沙上へ移動し（1号線で西面へ行き2号線に乗り換え）、釜山西部（沙上）ターミナルから古県行きの市外バス（約1時間5分～1時間25分、₩9,000）に乗ります。古県からは市内バス50-2番が農業開発院の正門まで直行します。2025年の祭り期間中は古県バスターミナルからシャトルバスも運行されました。
釜山から
地下鉄2号線沙上駅に隣接する釜山西部（沙上）ターミナルから古県バスターミナル行きの市外バスで約1時間5分～1時間25分、₩9,000（深夜便は₩10,800）です。1日約40本あります。途中、2010年に開通した全長8.2kmの釜山―巨済連絡道路（巨加大橋）を渡ります。古県からは市内バス50-2番で会場へ。古県からは釜山総合バスターミナル（金井区）や金海空港行きのバスも出ています。
仁川空港から
古県バスターミナルと仁川空港第1・第2ターミナルの間には直通の市外バスがあります（時刻表は未確認）。または、AREXでソウルへ出てソウル南部ターミナルからバスに乗るか、国内線で金海空港（釜山）へ飛び、そこから古県行きのバスを利用します。

シャトルバス
2025年は、古県バスターミナルと農業開発院の間を祭りのシャトルバスが走り、「島ツアー・花ツアー」バスが会場と巨済植物園を結びました。週末の09:00～18:00には周辺の駐車場から無料シャトルも運行：物揚場（물량장）～スポーツパーク（30分間隔）、第一高校～スポーツパーク（20分間隔）、ウェガン小学校（외간초등학교）～微生物培養室（30分間隔）。2026年は祭りが中止のためシャトルはありません。
帰り方
巨済には鉄道がありません。古県からはソウル南部（約4時間30分）、東ソウル総合ターミナル（約4時間45分）、釜山・沙上（約1時間15分）へ戻るバスがあり、2026年秋はソウル南部行きの深夜バスもありました。釜山駅でKTXに乗り継ぐなら、バスと釜山市内の地下鉄での移動時間を見込んでおきましょう。2025年は会場が20:00に閉まったため、夜のライトアップを見た後は、運行していればソウル行きの深夜バスか、1泊するのが現実的です。祭りの当日より前に、最終バスを古県バスターミナルで、終電をKorailアプリ（코레일+）で確認してください。
駐車場
2025年は無料。農業開発院と巨済植物園の駐車場に加え、巨済面スポーツパークと巨済植物園第2駐車場にシャトルで結ばれた臨時駐車場がありました。駐車場は09:00～21:00で、混雑する週末には誘導員が配置されました。カーナビには「거제시 농업개발원（거제남서로 3577）」と入力します。
Google マップは韓国では電車・地下鉄・バスの経路を表示できますが、徒歩や車のルート案内にはまだ対応していません。駅から会場までの徒歩ルートは、NAVERマップかカカオマップのほうが確実です。

GS25、CU、セブン-イレブンなどのコンビニで購入でき、チャージも同じ店で現金でできます。ほとんどの都市の地下鉄・バスと、ほとんどのタクシーで使えます。
地図アプリ
徒歩やバスのルート検索にはNAVERマップかカカオマップを使いましょう。Google マップは韓国ではまだ徒歩ルートを案内できません。どちらのアプリも英語表示に切り替えられます。NAVERマップはメニュー（≡）→設定→言語で切り替えでき、日本語・中国語も選べます。カカオマップはメニュー（≡）→設定→アプリ設定→言語で切り替えます。項目が見当たらない場合は、スマートフォンの言語設定を変えてからアプリを開き直してください。小さな店の名前や一部の口コミは韓国語のままです。

- 2027 dates (and whether 2027 will be numbered the 20th edition) not announced as of 18 Oct 2026; the official festival site geoje.go.kr/flower blocks automated fetching, so the organizer's own notices were read only through news reports and city PDFs.
- Whether the flood-damaged greenhouses, Nongsim Theme Park, insect centre and agricultural science hall at the Agricultural Development Center have been repaired, and whether 2027 keeps free entry, 10:00–20:00 hours and the 2025 shuttle routes.
- Frequency and journey time of city bus 50-2 from Gohyeon Bus Terminal, taxi time and fare, and the exact locations of the 2025 shuttle stops (Mullyangjang, Jeil High School, Oegan Elementary School).
