About the festival

The Suncheon Naganeupseong Folk Culture Festival is a weekend of Joseon-era reenactments, folk games and traditional music inside Naganeupseong, a walled town in Suncheon, Jeollanam-do, where about 230 people still live in thatched houses. The 31st edition runs 24–25 October 2026, 11:00–17:00, opening with the Nagan magistrate's arrival procession. Entry is the village's normal ticket: ₩4,000 for adults in KTO's 2026 listing. Take the KTX from Yongsan to Suncheon (₩42,300, most trains 2 h 33 m–2 h 50 m), then city bus 16, 61, 63 or 68, or a taxi of about 25 minutes.

Transport, booking, crowd and accessibility details are on the main Suncheon Naganeupseong Folk Culture Festival page, which covers every edition.
