Notes on the 2027 edition

In 2026 the city gave the summer dates in its April announcement of the spring run and published the programme in late July. Recent runs started on a Friday or Saturday (Fri 26 Jul 2024, Sat 26 Jul 2025, Sat 1 Aug 2026).

About the festival

The Hangang Festival (Summer) is the Seoul city government's summer run of its Han River park festival, the event that began in 2013 as Hangang Mongttang. The 2026 run was 1–16 August in nine riverside parks, with free concerts and films under the bridges, pool parties, a silent disco under Mapo Bridge, the overnight Hangang Night Walk 42K and discounted boat rides; the 2027 run is expected in late July and August but has not been announced. Entry and many programmes are free; pool events cost ₩1,000–3,000 and the silent disco ₩9,000, while races, cruises and boat rides cost ₩12,500–70,000.
