Reported as both '2025 경주 대릉원 돌담길 벚꽃축제' and '2025 경주 대릉원돌담길 축제'. With the APEC summit due in Gyeongju that autumn, the city handed out guides in Korean, Chinese, Japanese and English and added security staff.
About the festival
The Gyeongju Cherry Blossom Festival, billed in 2026 as the Gyeongju Daereungwon Stone-Wall Road Festival (경주 대릉원돌담길 축제), closes the cherry-lined road along the walls of the Daereungwon royal tomb park for three days at peak bloom, with street performances, a night light show, food trucks and a craft market. The 2026 edition ran 3–5 April, 13:00–22:00, with free admission; the 2027 edition is expected on a Friday-to-Sunday weekend in late March or early April, with dates set by the bloom. Take the KTX to Gyeongju Station (about 2 h 15 m from Seoul), then a taxi of about 20 minutes or bus 60 or 61 to Cheomseongdae.
Transport, booking, crowd and accessibility details are on the main Gyeongju Cherry Blossom Festival page, which covers every edition.
