About the festival
The Gumi Ramyeon Festival (구미라면축제) is a free three-day street-food festival around Gumi Station in Gumi, Gyeongsangbuk-do, the city where Nongshim fries most of Korea's Shin Ramyun. Local chefs serve creative ramyeon dishes along a 475 m 'ramyeon street' opposite the station, and Nongshim sells packs fried that morning. The 5th edition runs Friday 6 to Sunday 8 November 2026, 10:00–21:00 per the ministry's listing; entry is free and you pay per dish (2026 dish prices had not been published by 28 October). Direct ITX trains from Seoul Station reach Gumi Station, right at the festival gate, in about 3 hours (₩26,700).
Transport, booking, crowd and accessibility details are on the main Gumi Ramyeon Festival page, which covers every edition.
