Notes on the 2026 edition
44th edition, theme 'Always, youth' (언제나, 청춘). 1,167,000 visitors; trade fair 91,200 visitors and about ₩889 million in sales (up 23.5% on 2025). Weekend shuttles ran between the square and temporary lots at the Geumsan History Museum and the sports complex.
About the festival
Geumsan World K-Insam Festival (금산세계인삼축제) is a free ten-day ginseng festival held each autumn at the World K-Insam Expo Square in Geumsan, Chungcheongnam-do, about 50 minutes by bus from Daejeon. The 2026 edition ran 2–11 October (10:00–21:00) and drew 1.17 million visitors; 2027 is expected in early October. Go to dig your own ginseng in a farm field and eat samgyetang in Korea's ginseng capital.
