Notes on the 2025 edition

43rd edition, theme '애들아, 사랑한다', 70 programmes. Held in September because of the early-October Chuseok holiday; one source printed the end date as 29 Sep while describing a ten-day run from the 19th, so 28 Sep is used here. About 985,000 visitors (festival foundation, December 2025).

About the festival

Geumsan World K-Insam Festival (금산세계인삼축제) is a free ten-day ginseng festival held each autumn at the World K-Insam Expo Square in Geumsan, Chungcheongnam-do, about 50 minutes by bus from Daejeon. The 2026 edition ran 2–11 October (10:00–21:00) and drew 1.17 million visitors; 2027 is expected in early October. Go to dig your own ginseng in a farm field and eat samgyetang in Korea's ginseng capital.

Transport, booking, crowd and accessibility details are on the main Geumsan World K-Insam Festival page, which covers every edition.
