Venue this year. Dadaepo Beach and its surroundings only. On 7 Aug the sand was capped at about 35,000 people, with overflow directed to the Gouni Ecological Trail; from 16:00 one lane of Dadae-ro and three nearby public car parks were closed.

Next edition2027: Late July to mid-August 2027, most likely opening on a Friday (recent dates: 26–28 Jul 2024, 1–3 Aug 2025, 7–13 Aug 2026), probably again at Dadaepo Beach; it would be the 31st edition. Busan city published the full programme about a week before opening in 2025 (28 Jul) and 2026 (4 Aug).

Notes on the 2026 edition

30th edition, billed by KTO as a festival linking young Busan residents and local businesses. Inquiries 051-713-5000 (Busan Festivals Organization). No official visitor total was found.

About the festival

The Busan Sea Festival (부산바다축제) is Busan's city-run summer beach festival, held since 2024 at Dadaepo Beach in Saha-gu with a sunset fireworks show on opening night, a 2,000-seat beach pub, free concerts and a beach club. The 30th edition ran 7–13 August 2026; 2027 dates are not announced, but recent editions opened on a Friday between late July and mid-August. Entry is free (KTO listed 11:00–22:00 in 2026), with some paid programmes; take Busan Metro Line 1 to its terminus, Dadaepo Beach Station, Exit 4.
