活動特色
光化門市集是首爾觀光財團在光化門廣場舉辦的聖誕市集；光化門廣場是從景福宮正門往南延伸的長形廣場。市集始於2022年，當時是試辦性質，在那年冬天的花燈展旁設了約50個攤位；2023年起成為固定活動，之後規模年年擴大：2024年24天內有164萬人次到訪，2025年20天內約357萬人次。首爾市的節慶入口網站如今稱它為首爾的代表性聖誕市集。
整體風格是把歐洲的聖誕村打造成「聖誕老人村」：紅屋頂的小木屋攤位、15公尺高的聖誕樹，以及十多處拍照布景，例如胡桃鉗之家、可以投寄許願信的薑餅屋、雪花噴泉和泰迪熊照相館。2025年新增魯道夫旋轉木馬，完成場內集章活動的遊客可免費搭乘；12月21日至25日，聖誕老人還會坐在大聖誕樹下，免費和遊客合照。其餘空間則是品牌合作區（2025年有迪士尼、Barbour和Nespresso），以及公益與地方宣傳攤位。攤位本身由首爾的小商家經營，販售手作工藝品和季節商品，分三個檔期，每期換一批新商家。
這是晚上的活動。2025年開幕時營業時間為17:30–21:30，12月中旬因人潮太多延長到22:00，12月31日跨年當晚原定營業到午夜。免費入場。市集與首爾燈節共用主辦單位、網站和開幕日，燈節路線從廣場南端的清溪廣場開始，兩者又同屬首爾市「首爾冬日嘉年華」（Seoul Winter Festa），所以多數遊客會在同一晚一起逛。市集通常比較早結束：2025年市集在12月31日閉幕，花燈則展到1月18日。
2026年活動預定於2026年12月11日至2027年1月10日舉行（共31天），同樣分為三個商家檔期。
有幾點要先知道：這裡以拍照和手作商品為主，不是以吃喝為主的市集。2025年的餐飲只有少數季節美食攤位和一個美食區，2026年的小商家招募也只列出手作工藝品和季節商品商家。聖誕節那一週和週末晚上非常擁擠，聖誕樹與旋轉木馬前大排長龍，而且廣場空曠，12月的寒風直接吹過來。

適合對象： 最適合住在首爾市中心的情侶、帶小小孩的家庭和第一次來首爾的旅客：想免費度過充滿節慶氣氛的夜晚、散步拍節日照片，再順道看清溪川花燈。較不適合期待德式美食加熱紅酒市集的人，也不適合怕在聖誕節那一週大排長龍、人擠人的人。
交通方式
從首爾出發
搭5號線到光化門站，車站就在廣場正下方：主辦單位的交通指南建議走9號出口，經地下通道獬豸庭院（해치마당）上到地面，也可走7號出口；1號出口在世宗文化會館旁，也就是2025年市集的起點。搭3號線可從景福宮站6號出口出站，往南走到廣場。從市廳站（1號線與2號線）4號或5號出口步行約5分鐘，可到廣場南端的清溪廣場，再沿世宗大路往北走。
從仁川機場出發
搭AREX普通列車到孔德站，轉乘5號線到光化門站；或搭6002號機場巴士，這條路線列在行經光化門廣場的路線之中。
從光化門站到會場
首爾地鐵5號線，9號或7號出口。車站就在廣場正下方；從9號出口經獬豸庭院地下通道可直接上到廣場
回程交通
平日晚上光化門站的地鐵末班車時間未查證，若待到很晚，請出發前用地圖App或在車站查詢。2025年跨年夜，首爾市配合普信閣敲鐘讓地鐵營運到午夜之後，活動期間1號線列車不停靠鐘閣站；截至2026年10月21日，2026年的安排尚未公布，請在12月31日前查看首爾市的公告。
停車
廣場本身沒有停車場。主辦單位推薦世宗路公營停車場、光化門大樓公營停車場和教保大樓民營停車場，但提醒交通非常壅塞，請盡量搭乘大眾運輸。2025年跨年夜普信閣一帶道路整晚封閉，公車路線也改道；2026年的計畫尚未公布。
在韓國，Google 地圖可以查詢火車、地鐵和公車路線，但還不支援步行和開車導航；從車站步行前往時，Naver Map 或 Kakao Map 較可靠。

步行和公車路線請用Naver Map或Kakao Map；Google 地圖目前在韓國還無法提供步行導航。兩個App都可以切換為英文。Naver Map：選單（≡）→設定→語言（也可選日文和中文）。Kakao Map：選單（≡）→設定→應用程式設定→語言。如果找不到該選項，可先變更手機的系統語言，再重新開啟App。小店名稱和部分評論仍為韓文。

- 人潮
- 非常擁擠，而且人潮年年增加：2025年20天內約357萬人次，是2024年（24天164萬人次）的兩倍以上，其中12月21日至25日就超過100萬人次。天黑後和週末，聖誕樹拍照區與旋轉木馬前都要排很久。
- 最佳造訪時間
- 展期初期的平日、17:30開放後不久前往；趁排隊人潮還沒出現先拍大聖誕樹，再走去看18:00點燈的清溪川花燈。不喜歡人潮的話，請避開12月21日至25日和週末晚上。
- 攜帶物品
- 保暖衣物、手套和帽子（12月晚上要待在空曠的廣場上）、充飽電的手機方便拍照，以及在小攤位用的少量現金。
- 雨天
- 天候不佳時，營業時間或部分活動可能調整；請留意官方網站或市集的Instagram（@gwanghwamunmarket）（主辦單位常見問答，2024年）。
- 洗手間
- 廣場附近的光化門站、世宗路公營停車場、大韓民國歷史博物館和世宗文化會館都有免費公共廁所（主辦單位常見問答，2024年）。
- 無障礙通行
- 市集未公布無障礙資訊。2025年旋轉木馬規定：身高未滿90公分的兒童坐馬車座，未滿110公分須由監護人陪同搭乘。

節慶前後順遊
在不錯過接駁車與回程末班車的前提下，節慶前後可以順道去的地方。
朝鮮王朝的正宮，從廣場北端的光化門進入；市集開門前的下午，可以在宮門、庭院和殿閣之間走走。11月至2月開放時間為09:00–17:00，閉館前1小時停止入場，每週二休館（韓國觀光公社），出來時廣場正好開始熱鬧。門票幾千韓元，穿韓服免費。
怎麼去：步行到廣場北端的光化門（廣場全長約550公尺）
位於廣場地下二樓的免費展館，介紹世宗大王（創制韓文、朝鮮的科學與宮廷音樂）和李舜臣將軍（海戰歷史，有可以走進去的龜船模型和划船體驗展品）。在景福宮和市集之間可以在這裡取暖：開放時間10:00–18:30，停止入場18:00，週一休館（週一遇國定假日照常開放，隔天休館）。
怎麼去：就在廣場上：入口在世宗大王像後方；免費
首爾冬日嘉年華期間投影在光化門城樓上的媒體立面秀；2025年還有敲大鼓發射雷射的互動節目。2025年展期為12月12日至1月4日，週日至週四17:30–21:30，週五、週六到22:00，與市集的營業時間重疊；查閱的資料中沒有找到2026年的日期和時間。建議在廣場北端觀賞。
怎麼去：就在廣場上，北端光化門前
沿清溪川從清溪廣場經三一橋一直到DDP附近五間水門一帶的免費花燈造型和媒體藝術展，與市集由同一主辦單位營運，並在同一天開幕。2025年花燈亮到23:00，市集22:00結束，所以逛完市集再走過去；2026年的點燈時間尚未公布。日期請見本站的首爾燈節頁面。

- The 2026 dates were already moved once (on 13 Oct 2026, from 4 Dec–3 Jan) and 2026 Seoul Winter Festa dates are not yet public; recheck in November.
- Whether food stalls return in 2026: the small-business call lists only craft and seasonal-goods sellers, and no food or mulled-wine operator has been named.
- 2025 closing time conflicts: the organizer's notice says 22:00 from 16 Dec, Herald Economy says 22:30; on 31 Dec the city planned midnight, Herald reported 01:00.
- Whether all stalls accept foreign cards (only a general 2024 FAQ line on cards and cash was found; nothing for 2025 or 2026).
- Foreign names vary: KTO lists only Simplified Chinese 光化门广场市集 (Seoul's own Chinese newsletter uses 光化门集市); Japanese 光化門マーケット comes from Seoul newsletters and the press, not a KTO page; for Traditional Chinese the site uses 光化門市集 (the STO newsletter writes 光化門市場).
- Accessibility (lifts at Gwanghwamun Station exits, step-free routes into the market) was not published.
