活動特色
東大門設計廣場（DDP）是札哈·哈蒂設計、2014年開館的曲線建築，每到冬天就變身巨型螢幕。首爾之光 DDP把媒體藝術投影在面向Eoullim廣場（어울림광장）、長222公尺的西側外牆上，園區各處還有雷射、燈光裝置和拍照區。活動在2019年12月以「首爾之光」之名起步，雷菲克·阿納多爾（Refik Anadol）的AI數據藝術作品《首爾解夢》在15天內吸引了超過100萬人次。2021年春季辦了第二次，同年12月冬季場回歸，2022年起改稱「首爾之光 DDP」。2023年起，除了12月的冬季場，每年9月初前後也加辦秋季場。2025年，它獲金氏世界紀錄認證為在不規則造型建築上規模最大的投影映射展示。
冬季場屬於首爾市「首爾冬日嘉年華」的一部分。近幾屆都在12月下半月的某個週四開幕，一直到12月31日：2023年12月21日至31日、2024年12月19日至31日、2025年12月18日至31日。2025年的主題是「EVERGLOW」：6部各3至5分鐘的作品，登場角色包括首爾市吉祥物獬豸（Haechi）、LINE FRIENDS等，18:00至21:30每30分鐘循環放映；園區則化身聖誕小鎮，草坡上擺了180個「許願水晶」燈光裝置，Mirae-ro橋下點亮光雕燈飾（Luminarie）。每年的冬季場最後都以有煙火和DJ或樂團演出的跨年倒數收尾：2023年與2024年從23:00持續到01:30，2025年約有87,000人到場。
所有活動都在戶外，免費，也不需預約。2026年9月起，活動期間以外的晚上也有得看：Eoullim廣場附近的常設雷射燈光秀「DDP 365之光」每晚每30分鐘上演一次。首爾之光 DDP和首爾之光·光化門是兩場不同的燈光秀，後者投影在光化門城樓上，同樣屬於冬日嘉年華。
有幾點要先知道：首爾市公布冬季場細節的時間很晚，到2026年10月中旬，2026年的閉幕日期、放映時間與節目都還沒公布；觀賞時得站在12月的寒風中；跨年當晚非常擁擠。

適合對象： 最適合12月下半月人在首爾、想找個免費又不花太多時間的晚間行程的旅客，孩子喜歡卡通角色表演的家庭，以及想看有煙火的跨年倒數的人；較不適合期待長時間節目的人，因為一輪放映只有約20分鐘，也不適合不喜歡在寒風中跟人群一起站著看的人。
交通方式
從首爾出發
搭地鐵2、4或5號線到東大門歷史文化公園站，從1號出口出站就是DDP的Eoullim廣場，也是觀賞外牆投影的主要位置。再往草坡和Mirae-ro橋方向走，可以換個角度欣賞，也能看到各處燈光裝置。
從釜山出發
從釜山站搭KTX到首爾站（約2小時30分鐘；2026年9月1日調降票價後，一般車廂₩54,400），再轉搭4號線往榛接方向，到東大門歷史文化公園站1號出口。
從仁川機場出發
搭AREX直達列車到首爾站（中途不停站，約40分鐘，₩13,000），再轉搭4號線往榛接方向，到東大門歷史文化公園站1號出口。
從東大門歷史文化公園站到會場
首爾地鐵2、4、5號線，1號出口。1號出口一出來就是DDP，正對外牆前的Eoullim廣場
回程交通
燈光秀約22:00前結束，都在地鐵正常營運時間內。跨年倒數在2023年和2024年持續到01:30；首爾市過去在跨年夜都會延長地鐵營運，但要靠深夜列車回去之前，請先查看市政府的跨年交通公告。當晚要回釜山：從首爾站搭KTX約2小時30分；出發前請在Korail+ App（코레일+，KTX與原SRT列車現在都在這裡訂票）或車站確認末班車。
在韓國，Google 地圖可以查詢火車、地鐵和公車路線，但還不支援步行和開車導航；從車站步行前往時，Naver Map 或 Kakao Map 較可靠。

- 建議平日晚上趕在第一場（2025年為18:00）抵達；節目每30分鐘循環一次，可以先在Eoullim廣場看一輪，再到草坡看一輪。12月31日請在倒數開始前提早到場，倒數會持續到午夜之後。
- 攜帶物品
- 保暖衣物、手套和帽子（12月要站在戶外觀賞）、充飽電的手機方便拍照；跨年當晚記得準備儲值好的交通卡，方便回程。

節慶前後順遊
在不錯過接駁車與回程末班車的前提下，節慶前後可以順道去的地方。
漢陽都城（首爾城郭）是朝鮮時代環繞都城的城牆，這一段從惠化門翻過駱山公園，沿著城牆一路走到DDP附近的興仁之門（東大門），全長3.2公里，約1小時，能看夕陽和首爾夜景。步道24小時開放，可以傍晚出發，趕在DDP晚間場次前下山。小提醒：沿途經過梨花洞等住宅區，天黑後請放低音量。
怎麼去：搭4號線到惠化站1號出口，步行5分鐘到步道；終點興仁之門離DDP很近
首爾的免費冬季花燈展，在低於路面、穿過市中心的清溪川舉行：從清溪廣場往東，各主題區擺滿花燈造型與媒體藝術，2026年12月11日至2027年1月31日舉行。2025年花燈亮到23:00，比DDP最後一場（21:30）還晚，可以先看早場燈光秀再去清溪川；2026年的時間尚未公布。小提醒：河道比街面冷，尖峰時段單向通行。

- Whether a December 2020 edition was held or cancelled: the spring 2021 run (26 Mar–1 Apr) is described as the second edition, and no 2020 run was found.
- 2025 winter hours differ: 18:00–21:30 (city notice) vs 18:00–22:00 (Mediahub articles); the 2025 countdown start time was not published.
- Visitor figures mix calendar years (1.16 million in 2023, 1.92 million in 2025) with single runs (775,719 in winter 2024, 610,000 in autumn 2024); no winter-only figure for 2025 was found.
- Official Japanese and Traditional Chinese names were not found; Seoul's Chinese site uses 首尔之光 DDP.
