‘온 시민 에너지걷기 한마당’은 2026 대전 세계태양광총회(WCPEC-9) 개최를 기념하여 마련된 친환경 에너지 참여 프로그램이다. 가을의 대전 도심을 함께 걸으며 에너지와 환경의 가치를 직접 체험하고, 시민 모두가 지속가능한 미래를 생각해볼 수 있는 행사이다.
이번 행사는 순위 경쟁 없이 누구나 즐겁게 참여할 수 있는 걷기 프로그램으로, 참가자는 대전엑스포시민광장에서 출발해 한밭수목원 일대를 걸으며 모바일 스탬프 미션을 수행하게 된다. 스마트폰 QR 인증 방식으로 총 4개의 미션을 완료하면 완보 리워드와 모바일 완보증을 받을 수 있다. 걷기 프로그램과 함께 에너지를 쉽고 재미있게 알아볼 수 있는 다양한 프로그램도 운영된다.
2026년 11월 15일 대전엑스포시민광장에서 열리는 이번 행사는 시민들이 함께 걷고, 배우고, 체험하며 지속가능한 에너지와 환경의 중요성을 자연스럽게 접할 수 있는 특별한 하루이다. 한 사람의 걸음이 모여 더 푸른 내일을 만들어가는 시민 참여형 에너지 축제이다.
The Korea Tourism Organization’s helpline answers in English, Japanese and Chinese around the clock, and in several other languages from 08:00 to 19:00. Dial 1330 from a Korean phone, or +82-2-1330 from a phone registered abroad.
112 for police, 119 for fire and ambulance. Both are free from any phone. Police on 112 can add an English or Chinese interpreter to the call.
Buy one at a convenience store such as GS25, CU or 7-Eleven and top it up there with cash. It pays for subways and buses in most cities, and for most taxis.
Use Naver Map or Kakao Map for walking and bus directions; Google Maps does not yet give walking directions in Korea. Both apps can be switched to English. Naver Map: Menu (≡) → Settings → Language (Japanese and Chinese also available). Kakao Map: Menu (≡) → Settings → App settings → Language. If the option is missing, change your phone’s language and reopen the app. Small shop names and some reviews stay in Korean.
Book trains on Korail’s English site and express buses on Kobus. Holiday weekends sell out first.

The Daejeon Science Festival is a free science fair run by Daejeon city with the Ministry of Science and ICT at Daejeon Convention Center and Expo Science Park, about an hour from Seoul by KTX. The 2026 edition ran 17–19 April, 10:00–18:00, together with the national Korea Science Festival; 2027 dates are not set.
