- Mon 23 Dec 17:00first lighting (Kyongbuk Maeil); a blog listed the formal opening ceremony on the floating stage at 19:30 on Tue 24 Dec
- Tue 24 Dec (19:45 per a blog) and Wed 25 Dec (19:00): 'fire drone show' with about 400 drones over the lake
- Suseong Light Art Schoolworks by 1,168 students from 11 Suseong-gu schools, made in classes from the first half of 2024
- 'Artist's Hidden Track'sculpture and media-façade works by 12 local professional artists along the east promenade
- Guest works from Japan's Mizuakari festival and from middle- and high-school students at Camp Walker; works by the local firms SphereAX, UNDT and MVtron
- Hands-on boothshanji paper-lantern making and a wish tree

Notes on the 2024 edition
6th edition, 9 days. Hosted by Suseong-gu, with enquiries to the Suseong Culture Foundation. Selected for the 100 night-time tourism spots list (대한민국 밤밤곡곡 100선).
About the festival
The Suseong Light Art Festival (수성빛예술제) lines Suseongmot Lake in Daegu's Suseong district with light sculptures and media art made by local residents, students and artists, with drone shows over the water, every Christmas and New Year season since 2019. The 2025 edition ran 24 December 2025–4 January 2026, lit 17:00–22:00 daily; 2026 dates are not announced yet, but it usually opens between 20 and 24 December. Entry is free; take Daegu Metro Line 3 to Suseongmot Station, Exit 1, about 5 minutes' walk.
