Venue this year. About 2 km from 3·15 Haeyang Nuri Park to Hapo Waterfront Park, linked by a lit 'Chrysanthemum Wish Road'. The displays stayed up for self-guided viewing on 4–10 Nov, without programs.

Notes on the 2024 edition

24th edition and the first under the restored 'Gagopa' name; theme '바다가 부르는 국화연가' (A chrysanthemum love song the sea sings). About 165,000 plants and 120 million blooms in 230 works, including a 6 m yellow-dragon gate and a 7 m rotating tree of 1,080 pots; 756,000 visitors.

About the festival

The Masan Gagopa Chrysanthemum Festival (마산가고파국화축제) is Changwon's free autumn flower festival on the Masan Port waterfront, where about 100,000 chrysanthemum plants are shaped into themed sculptures and displays at 3·15 Haeyang Nuri Park and Hapo Waterfront Park. The 26th edition runs 31 October–8 November 2026, 10:00–22:00, with multimedia fireworks on opening day and a sea nakhwa fire show at 19:00 on 4 November. Take the KTX from Seoul Station to Masan Station (about 3 hours, ₩48,300–₩48,600 standard class), then the free festival shuttle that loops every 30 minutes.
