Venue this year. Around the Jinan Local Food store (Jinan branch) and the Jinan Red Ginseng & Herb Center at 1166 Jinmu-ro, Jinan-eup; a community post places it around the red ginseng shopping centre in the town centre. Shuttle buses ran from the Jinan bus terminal, with parking at Jinan Sports Park and around the county office.

Billed as 'a warm kimjang festival shared by family and neighbours'. The seventh edition, according to a community post published on 28 November 2025.

About the festival

The Jinan Highland Kimchi Bossam Festival (진안고원 김치보쌈축제) is a two-day weekend kimjang festival in Jinan-eup, Jinan County, Jeonbuk State, where families make winter kimchi together and eat it fresh with boiled pork (bossam). The 2026 edition, its eighth, is on Saturday–Sunday 14–15 November, confirmed on the organizer's site; the official poster places it around the Jinan Local Food store in Jinan-eup. Phone booking (063-433-6613) has opened for the kimchi-making sessions at 10:30, 13:00 and 15:00; opening hours and 2026 prices are not yet published. Entry has been free; the kimjang set (20 kg of salted cabbage and 10 kg of seasoning) is paid, and the organizer has not published its 2026 price. Jinan has no railway: take the KTX to Jeonju (about 1 h 40 m from Yongsan), then a 46-minute bus.
