Notes on the 2024 edition
Spring run, 3 days, theme '우리 가족 봄소풍은 한강으로~' (a family spring picnic on the Hangang). The Seoul International Garden Expo opened at Ttukseom on 16 May the same week. The city archive also lists puppet and shadow theatre, board games, an outdoor library, a photo spot on Seorae Island and a college song audition.
About the festival
The spring run of the Hangang Festival is Seoul's city-run family festival in the Han River parks, held in early to mid May. The 2026 run was on 2–10 May in Ichon, Yeouido and Banpo Hangang Parks, with a free children's theatre and a stroller parade (₩5,000 per team) at Ichon on 9–10 May, and yacht, kayak, small-boat and cruise rides (₩12,500–60,000) from Banpo and Yeouido. The 2027 spring run is expected in May 2027; dates have not been announced. Entry and the shows are free; for Banpo, take Line 9 to Sinbanpo Station, Exit 1, and walk about 15 minutes.
