Program
- A 2 km walk-through on the Hwarang Forest trail with 12 themed spaces, such as the Witch's Wardrobe and the Ghost's Cabin, each with its own lighting, decorations, activities and photo zones
- Theme "Guardians of SillaEnter the World of Pumpkin Night": mascots Hwani and Wani with the twelve zodiac guardians of Silla royal tombs as children's characters, plus pumpkins, ghosts and witches
- Halloween makeup, face painting and costume rental; souvenir shop
- Hands-on and sale booths, food and drink booths
- DJ performances and audience-participation games on a mini stage
- Chuseok holiday (from 24 Sep, held): a Pumpkin character in hanbok, with a gift for visitors who posted a photo with it on social media
- "Timeless Kingdom" card collection: the Okjeok card is handed out at this event; collect all three Silla treasure cards (summer, autumn and the December winter event) for a prize draw
- Social-media follow event and a return-visit offer for EX-HORROR visitors

Notes on the 2026 edition
Run by the Gyeongsangbuk-do Culture and Tourism Corporation as the autumn part of the park's 2026 season (book picnic in May, EX-HORROR in August, EX Pumpkin Night in September–October, EX Winter in December). Viewing may be restricted in rain. As of 19 October the last evenings are Monday 19 to Saturday 24 October.
About the festival
EX Pumpkin Night is a Halloween-themed night walk along the 2 km lit trail through Hwarang Forest (Luminight) at Gyeongju Expo Park, at the entrance to Gyeongju's Bomun resort area. The 2026 edition, built around the park mascots Hwani and Wani and Silla's twelve zodiac guardians, runs 24 September–24 October, 18:00–22:00 daily with last entry at 21:00; tickets are ₩10,000, or ₩8,000 booked online. Take the KTX to Gyeongju Station (about 2 h 15 m from Seoul), then a taxi of about 30 minutes. The 2027 dates have not been announced.
