Notes on the 2026 edition
Slogan 'Coffeeful Gangneung'; 3 categories and 23 programs; timed with the 2026 Gangneung ITS World Congress, with multilingual guidance, shuttle buses and reusable containers planned. Named a 2026–2027 Culture and Tourism Festival by the Ministry of Culture. The fireworks were cut from two shows in 2025 to one in 2026, and English, Chinese and Japanese leaflets, an English site map and on-site interpreters were planned.
About the festival
The Gangneung Coffee Festival is a five-day coffee festival on Gangneung Coffee Street at Anmok Beach on Korea's east coast, about two hours from Seoul by KTX. The 18th edition runs 21–25 October 2026, 10:00–20:00 daily. Entry is free; some tastings, classes and market purchases are paid. Go for 100 baristas pouring 100 different coffees on one street facing the sea.
