几百年来，济州的高地牧场上一直在养马；岛上体型矮小的本地品种济州马，正是这个节庆的主角。节庆由韩国马事会和济州特别自治道主办、韩国马事会济州本部承办，会场设在韩国马事会位于岛上的赛马场Let's Run Park济州的家庭公园区。节庆已固定在10月第四个周末的周六、周日举行：2024年10月26日至27日（第19届）、2025年10月25日至26日（第20届）、2026年10月24日至25日（第21届）。

从首尔出发
从金浦飞往济州国际机场，多数航班约1小时15分钟，每天有数十个航班。济州没有铁路。Let's Run Park济州位于涯月邑，紧邻横贯全岛、通往西南方向的主干道和平路，从机场打车最方便。151路和151-1路急行巴士从机场1楼4号站出发，沿和平路行驶，但其最初几站中没有以赛马场命名的站点，乘坐前请先用公交App确认。
从釜山出发
从金海（釜山）飞往济州国际机场，然后按上述方式乘出租车。
从仁川机场出发
乘AREX机场铁路到金浦机场，换乘班次频繁的金浦—济州航班，然后从济州国际机场乘出租车前往。
节庆接驳车
截至2026年10月18日，尚未公布2026年的节庆接驳车，韩国观光公社的资料中也没有提及。
返程
济州没有铁路。白天的活动17:00或18:00结束（韩国观光公社资料两种说法都有），晚间的夜跑（周六）和音乐会（周日）18:00开始。当天可以飞回首尔，但10月25日（周日）起执行新的航班时刻表，当天的济州—金浦航班时间未经核实；请提前安排返回机场或济州市区的出租车。

节庆前后顺路去
在不错过接驳车和返程末班车的前提下，节庆前后可以顺路去的地方。
济州西部的一座火山丘，海拔519米，但从停车场算起只有约119米高；10月山坡被芒草染成一片银白，登顶可以眺望西海岸直到飞扬岛。陡峭的西侧步道约20分钟，较平缓的东侧步道约30分钟。可以在10:00开场前的早上去，或者如果不看18:00的晚间活动，就在白天的活动结束后去看日落。免费入场、免费停车。
怎么去：沿和平路再往西南约6公里，打车很快就到，没有接驳车。151路和151-1路急行巴士在往返机场的线路上停靠“晓星岳”站
