现场体验
咸平是一个小小的农业郡，从光州乘巴士约30分钟即到。1999年，咸平决定靠蝴蝶打响名号：当时韩国人大多没听说过这个地方，郡里就在这一年创办了这个春季庆典；后来咸平又在2008年举办了蝴蝶昆虫博览会，留下的EXPO公园至今仍是庆典的主场。如今庆典从4月下旬的一个星期五开始，到5月5日韩国儿童节（或其补休日）结束，为期11至12天。庆典曾两度停办：2014年因世越号沉船事故，2020年因COVID-19疫情。
这个庆典是为小孩子设计的，体验才是重头戏。园内有17种约200,000只活蝴蝶，以及30种约500,000株花（2025年数据）。孩子们可以在蝴蝶昆虫生态馆和户外放飞蝴蝶，在中央广场的充气圆顶里用花束给蝴蝶喂食（2025年新推出，现在是最受欢迎的体验，2026年每天都排长队），还能换上蝴蝶装、做手工。植物馆里有香蕉采摘，咸平川沿岸的生态湿地则有农事、捉鱼和迷宫体验。室内的标本馆展出约450种蝴蝶和昆虫，植物馆里有多肉植物、食虫植物和菜粉蝶展室。
第28届（2026年4月24日至5月5日）的主题是“追梦的蝴蝶，启程的旅途”。这一届新开了以蝴蝶为主题的游乐学习中心Nabit Park（나빛파크），设有室内外游乐区；在“蝴蝶奇幻”游行、舞蹈团队大赛、主舞台的特邀歌手演唱会、与成都友好区合办的四川文化区，以及咸平牛肉和猪肉试吃之外，又加入了碰碰狐和鲨鱼宝宝合唱秀。游客约236,000人，高于2025年的224,098人。
门票便宜，而且有一部分能“返还”。现场票按年龄约₩3,000至₩7,000，预售约便宜10%；成人票和青少年票一直附赠面值约₩1,000至₩2,000的优惠券，可在庆典摊位和当地商店使用。凭庆典门票，当天还曾可半价进入郡里的自然生态公园和两栖爬行动物生态公园。
需要注意的是：这首先是儿童庆典，不带孩子的成年人可能会觉得可玩的不多；儿童节和5月连假的周末非常拥挤；节目只有韩语；会场18:00关闭（17:30停止入场）；咸平距首尔约3小时。庆典期间部分KTX会在咸平站停靠，并有供这些乘客乘坐的接驳巴士开往会场，一日往返会轻松一些。截至2026年10月19日，2027年的日期尚未公布。

交通指南
从首尔出发
任何一天都可用的方式：从龙山站（或水西站）乘KTX到光州松汀站，约2小时（2026年9月票价下调后，龙山站出发普通车厢为₩42,000），再乘光州500路公交到咸平公营巴士客运站（30分钟至1小时），或乘锦湖高速的市外巴士（每天约19班，约30分钟），然后打车到咸平邑Gonjae-ro（곤재로）27的EXPO公园。庆典期间，Korail还让部分KTX直接停靠咸平站（2026年共8天；2024年每天上下行各3班），并有供KTX乘客乘坐的庆典接驳巴士开往会场。较慢的方式有：首尔直达咸平的锦湖高速巴士（每天2班，约4小时30分钟），或从龙山站乘新村号（Saemaeul）和无穷花号（Mugunghwa）列车到咸平站（分别约4小时10分钟和4小时50分钟）。

从釜山乘市外巴士到咸平约4小时（据郡旅游地图；未注明出发客运站和班次）。

节庆接驳车
2026年4月24日至26日和5月1日至5日（共8天），KTX在咸平站临时停靠，一辆仅供KTX乘客乘坐的接驳巴士往返于车站和庆典的“蝴蝶停车场”：上午开往会场2班，下午返回车站2班。KTX乘客门票优惠10%，并获赠小纪念品。2024年接驳巴士往返于咸平站和EXPO公园，乘客还可获赠咸平农产品。已查阅的页面未公布列车和接驳巴士的时刻。
返程
会场18:00关闭（17:30停止入场）。KTX停靠日，下午的2班接驳巴士返回咸平站；已查阅的页面未公布2026年庆典列车的时刻。其他日子请经光州返回（乘巴士30分钟至1小时），再从光州松汀站乘KTX到龙山站或水西站（约2小时），或从光州U-Square客运站乘高速巴士到首尔中央城市客运站。咸平直达首尔的巴士每天只有2班。列车时刻已于2026年11月1日调整，2027年春季的时刻尚未公布，因此本页不列末班车时间：请在庆典当天之前通过Korail应用（코레일+ / Korail+）或在车站确认末班列车，并到客运站确认末班巴士。
停车
自驾游客被告知将导航目的地设为“咸平EXPO公园蝴蝶停车场”（함평엑스포공원 나비주차장），2026年还设有临时停车场指示；已查阅的页面未公布车位数和收费。5月连假期间停车很可能要排队。
在韩国，谷歌地图可以查询火车、地铁和公交路线，但还不支持步行和驾车导航；从车站步行前往时，用Naver地图或Kakao地图更可靠。

节庆前后顺路去
在不错过接驳车和返程末班车的前提下，节庆前后可以顺路去的地方。
- 咸平郡立美术馆 (함평군립미술관)前后皆可
位于EXPO公园中心的郡立美术馆，建筑外形像蝴蝶翅膀，三个展厅主要展出捐赠作品，另有特展。想避开蝴蝶圆顶前的长队时，这里是安静的室内歇脚处：3月至10月开放时间10:00–18:00，与庆典同时关门，周一闭馆（庆典期间的周一是否开放未核实）。据韩国观光公社免费参观，但庆典期间它位于需购票的公园内。小贴士：馆外陈列收藏奇石的庭园也值得一看。
怎么去：在EXPO公园内，距庆典会场步行约155米；免费
- 咸平生牛肉拌饭街 (함평 생고기비빔밥 거리)节庆后
咸平邑市场周边聚集着多家餐馆，供应咸平招牌的生牛肉拌饭：米饭配十多种蔬菜，铺上来自当地牛市的生瘦牛肉，不用辣椒酱，而是拌入香油和用辣椒粉、蒜末、虾酱调成的调料，另配牛血汤。会场18:00关门后就去：花郎食堂每天10:00–19:00营业（最后点餐18:55）。小贴士：这里靠近开往光州的咸平巴士客运站，但赶不上KTX乘客专用的接驳巴士。

2027年咸平蝴蝶庆典什么时候举办？

- Free-entry categories for this festival were not confirmed (the chrysanthemum festival at the same park admits Hampyeong residents, children under 4 and others free, but no butterfly-festival source said so).
- Train numbers and times of the 2026 festival KTX stops at Hampyeong Station, and the shuttle timetable, were not published on the pages opened (a blog gives times, unverified); no 2027 stops have been announced.
- KTO lists '야간 무료개장' (free night entry) for 2026, but no night hours or programme were found; a community post mentions an evening drive-in cinema.
